Today, August 27, 2026, A high-level meeting was chaired by District Commissioner Shri Nibedan Das Patowary, ACS, alongside Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Bibekananda Das, APS, to review preparedness for the upcoming visit of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam regarding the PepsiCo Industry Project.

​The meeting was attended by ADCs, CO, BO, Dy. SPs, Executive Engineers, PepsiCo leadership including the Project Head and HR Manager, the LDM, Authority of Ross Foodchain Solutions Pvt Ltd and key department officials to ensure smooth coordination and ex*****on.

Today, August 27, 2026, District Commissioner Shri Nibedan Das Patowary, ACS chaired in a District Level Committee meeting regarding the identification of Nayaks and Nayikas under the Hon’ble Governor of Assam’s initiative, "Amar Mati Amar Nayak," was held at the Conference Hall of the Integrated District Commissioner Office, Nalbari.

The meeting was graced by ADC , BO, District Agriculture Officer, Joint Director of Health, DIPRO, Inspector of School, along with other officials.

Today, on 26th August 2026, the District Commissioner, Nalbari, Shri Nibedan Das Patowary, ACS, chaired the District Development Committee (DDC) meeting at the Conference Hall of the Integrated District Commissioner’s Office, Nalbari.

The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing district-level development projects and schemes, with discussions focused on timely completion of works and effective delivery of public services.

The meeting was attended by the CEO, Zilla Parishad, ADCs, COs, and other concerned departmental officials.
