Retired Police Personnel Honoured by Nalgonda SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS.

Nalgonda: District Superintendent of Police Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, felicitated police personnel who retired after rendering long and dedicated service to the Nalgonda District Police Department.

The retired personnel — N. Yadaiah, Sub-Inspector; Md. Liaquat Ali, ARSI; and Head Constables D. Venkateshwarlu Reddy and B. Mohan Rao — were honoured with shawls and bouquets by the SP.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP sir appreciated their nearly 36 years of dedicated service, discipline and commitment towards maintaining public safety and law and order. SP sir stated that their valuable experience and services will continue to inspire the Police Department.

The SP sir conveyed his best wishes for their healthy, peaceful and happy retired life with their families and expressed gratitude for their memorable services to the Police Department.

SP sir Directs Swift Action on Public Grievances...

Nalgonda District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, heard the grievances of around 34 victims from various police station limits during the Police Grievance Day held at the District Police Office on Monday.
The complaints related to land disputes, family issues, financial transactions, frauds and property disputes.The SP sir directed officers to conduct thorough field-level inquiries, verify the facts and take prompt action in accordance with the law and also emphasized that every complaint must be treated with priority, investigated impartially and monitored regularly to ensure justice to victims.

POCSO Case: Accused Sentenced to 10 Years Rigorous Imprisonment; ₹5,000 Fine.

The Nalgonda Fast Track Court for R**e and POCSO Act cases has sentenced the accused in a POCSO and r**e case registered at Dindi Police Station to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a ₹5,000 fine.
The court also ordered ₹7 lakh compensation for the victim. The judgment was delivered in SC POCSO No.101/2021, arising out of Crime No.97/2020 of Dindi Police Station.
The accused was convicted under Section 376(2) IPC. In case of default in payment of the fine, he will undergo an additional 3 months of simple imprisonment.
District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, appreciated the efforts of the investigation officers, prosecution team, Bharosa Centre legal officer, court duty staff and liaison officers for their coordinated efforts in securing the conviction.
The Nalgonda District Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring effective investigation and speedy justice in cases involving crimes against women and children.

Nalgonda District Police Excel in Crime Parameters.

Nalgonda District Police have secured the top position in Cluster-3 for their outstanding performance in the implementation of crime parameters.
In the state-level review of police performance, Nalgonda District emerged as the best-performing unit in Cluster-3, based on comprehensive performance across 8 key parameters.
On this occasion, DGP Sri C.V. Anand, IPS, presented appreciation certificates to Nalgonda District SP Sri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, and congratulated him for the district’s excellent performance.

Nalgonda District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, visited the Nalgonda District Jail and reviewed security arrangements, security points, entry and exit areas, and overall preparedness.

District SP Reviews Public Grievances, Directs Swift Action.

Field-level inquiry and prompt action on victims’ grievances – Nalgonda District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS.

Nalgonda District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, heard the grievances of around 32 complainants during the Police Grievance Day held at the District Police Office on Monday.
The complainants raised issues relating to land disputes, family matters, financial transactions, cheating, property disputes and other concerns. The SP sir reviewed each petition and directed the concerned officers to conduct a thorough field-level inquiry, verify the facts and take swift legal action as per the law.
SP sir instructed officers to monitor the progress of every complaint regularly, avoid delays and ensure fair, transparent and victim-friendly resolution.
The SP sir stated that Police Grievance Day provides an opportunity for people to directly approach the District SP with their concerns and assured that every grievance would be given priority and addressed within the legal framework.

Pending Cases to Be Resolved Swiftly – Coordination Meeting Held to Improve Conviction Rate.

A district-level coordination meeting was held at Udayaditya Bhavan, Nalgonda Collectorate, with the participation of District Judge Shri P. Vasanth, Collector Shri B. Chandrashekar and SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS.
The meeting reviewed pending criminal, trial, under-trial, absconding accused and NBW cases, along with investigation progress, charge sheets, evidence, witness attendance and court proceedings.
SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, directed police officers to work closely with Public Prosecutors and judicial authorities from the initial stage of investigation and take all necessary steps to ensure speedy trials and stronger convictions.
District Judge Shri P. Vasanth appreciated the Nalgonda Police for swiftly solving the sensational Kondamallepally Nagarjuna Grammar Concept School Principal Kallu Roopa Reddy murder case through scientific investigation, technical evidence and dedicated special teams and also said All departments were urged to work in coordination to ensure speedy justice to the public and reduce case pendency.

SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS. Conducts Annual Inspection of Devarakonda DSP & Dindi CI Offices.

Nalgonda District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, conducted annual inspections of the Devarakonda DSP Office and Dindi Circle Inspector Office, reviewing case investigations, pending cases, crime records and administrative records.
The SP sir directed officers to improve the quality of investigations, expedite pending cases, strengthen scientific evidence collection and ensure effective prosecution for convictions. Special focus was placed on grave crimes, SC/ST Atrocities cases, crimes against women & children, thefts, robberies and other serious offences.
The SP sir stressed maintaining updated records, using technology effectively, strengthening preventive policing and remaining vigilant in sensitive and crime-prone areas. Officers were also directed to respond promptly to public grievances and work transparently to strengthen public confidence in the police.

Students Arrested in School Principal Murder Case.

Nalgonda District Police have solved the sensational murder of Kallu Roopa Reddy, Principal of Nagarjuna Grammar Concept School, Kondamallapalli, within days of the incident.
Two Class 10 students, who allegedly planned the crime for money after developing a grudge against the principal, have been apprehended. Scientific investigation, CCTV footage, forensic evidence and technical analysis played a key role in cracking the case.
A crucial breakthrough came from the last word “Babu” spoken by the victim during a phone call before the incident, which redirected the investigation towards the school students.
Police teams analyzed around 70 CCTV cameras, covered a radius of nearly 30 km, and questioned more than 80 suspects. The accused were traced and taken into custody based on reliable information and technical evidence.
Seized: ₹1.54 lakh cash, victim’s iPhone, murder weapon, gloves, masks and two mobile phones.

Nalgonda District SP Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, conducted a comprehensive crime review meeting with police officers and directed them to strengthen crime prevention, speed up pending case investigations and ensure quality, scientific investigation.

🔹 Strengthen beat policing and surveillance on habitual offenders
