Hello fellas,
HOSTEL
A hostel carries a lot more importance in life of a college student. I am not judging between localities and hosteliets. But there's are whole new world in hostel.
I would like to share a story of my hostel life, we were in freshers year. I can surely remember the date because it was my best friend's b,day. We all with our seniors batchmates were celebrating his birthday, loud music, load hooting, and shirtless dance.
Back then in city campus, the college boys hostel was very close to lecture quarter's and even more close to Dean's bunglow. Obviously we drew his attention on midnight on 12 march between celebration.
Quietly Dean walked towards our hostel with his one servant. Servant called the hostel keeper to open main gate of hostel which is usually shut at 10pm. It was past 11.30 in night. Dean entered hostel wing on ground floor.
About hardly 10 to 15 steps away was our celebration going loud as it could go. Almost everyone was shirtless, some one running behind someone. It was time when we lift birthday boy for his bumps. It required about 10 boys to lift him as he was quiet boy with muscle and other were too skinny. We lifted him by all fours and one by one hitting hard on his bottom.
During all this chaos we never realised that when did our Dean walked in the hostel and witnessing the all celebration if you call it in larger way. Few of us suddenly went quiet. Few of us who was holding leg of bday boy left him to fall his leg on floor. I was on holding right hand and slowly i realised that some one very important there standing right at my back. I turned and saw our Dean standing there. Everyone now left bday boy on wet floor and facing towards Dean. Everyone one was quiet. The bday boy was like," Ea marna hai toh maro but aise ekadam se jameen pe mat patakana, lagta hai na yaar". He was trying to stand up while cleaning his cake smashed face. Also without his specks he was hardly see that why everyone at once went silent.
Coming close to him our Dean asked, which year...?
He gaining orientation about time place and person standing before him. He said sorry sorry sir..
Dean: which year ?
He hesitatingly answered 1st year sir,
Dean 1st year... Looking around all of us... 1st year.....
Wonderful!!!
Then rest of the incident went as you can guess. Disciplinary actions went to suspension for 3 days from call and some monitory penalty. As we were 1st year student we were spared by wrath. But it's day which I would never forgot.
