ਅੱਜ ਸਾਡੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਝੁਝਾਰੁ ਸਾਥੀ ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੀਰ ਦੇਵੀ ਦਿਆਲ ਸੰਧਲ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਕਾਮ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਦਿਨ ਦੋਗੁਣੀ ਰਾਤ ਚੌਗੁਣੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰਾਵੇ।

Foreseeing the plight of migrants travelling from Himachal Pradesh, Team WE STARTED YOU SUPPORTED decided to install a permanent "Langar, Water, Biscuit and Juice Stall" 300 metres towards Punjab Side while entering from Himachal Pradesh through Mehatpur Barrier.

Daily around 3000-3500 migrants were served with aforesaid necessities. Langar was prepared at Gurudwara Rara Sahib, Near Kishti Ghat, Nangal. Food was also served to the migrants waiting at respective Bus Stand, Railway Station and Govt. provided shelters through mobile cars by the said team.

This is possible with the aid and support of you all. We are nothing but when you hold our hands, we tried to impact and serve maximum needy persons as we can 24*7. Keep on Supporting and praying for us.

Team WE STARTED YOU SUPPORTED dedicated to serving the families not able to sustain themselves during this prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, served approx. 1500 individuals twice a day meal. Examination of necessity is to be undertaken by the team of Punjab Home Guards. Not only this, a list is also maintained and shared with Executive Officer, Municipal Council Nangal to avoid doubling of food distribution to similar persons.

After 3rd May, Ration kits distributed to families till the time they are not able to sustain themselves. 😊🙏

The team distributed cooked meals to about 1500 persons twice daily from 22nd March, 2020 till 3rd May, 2020 due to prevalence of Curfew in our country. After 3rd May, 2020 in lieu of reducing their dependence on cooked meals, the team decided to provide them with ration kits.

Before providing ration kits to any family, the survey (which includes talking to their neighbours about their condition, inspection in case any doubt prevails by the team of Punjab Police Home Guards, etc.) is carried out. We tried our best to serve the ones in need, rather than the ones with bad deeds/ulterior motives, without any biases.

Mask Distribution - Team WE STARTED YOU SUPPORTED started it's service with distributing masks to needy from 21st March, 2020 and continued till 8th June, 2020 in Nangal, Naya Nangal and adjacent villages including Nikku Nangal, Hambewal, Dobetta, Bhabour Sahib, Maida Majra, Kalsera, Mojowal, Bhatoli etc.

The masks are also provided to the civil as well as police administration.

Thank you SDM Shri Chamkaur Sahib, Harpreet Singh Atwal Sir and DSP UC Chawla for aprrecaiting the work done by team WE STARTED YOU SUPPORTED and support provided by Gurudwara Shri Rara Sahib in doing our services during this prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you SDM Sri Anandpur Sahib and Nangal Madam Kanu Garg ji and Trade Board Adda Market, Nangal for appreciating the work done by our Team WE STARTED YOU SUPPORTED continously for 73 days during this prevailing Covid-19 pandemic. Alongside appreciating our team, all other teams and societies working to serve the people in dire need are also appreciated. We, on behalf of team WE STARTED YOU SUPPORTED promised all of them that we will continue to serve the migrants travelling through railways and govt. buses from Nangal Dam with cooked food, water, tea and biscuits for coming 5-7 days too. And request all individual's present there, to let us know if they receive any call from any migrant in need of the said items in Nangal area.

Baba Gurtej Singh ji, Gurudwara Rara Sahib, near Kishti Ghat, Nangal received the said appreciation award.
