Government Polytechnic, Nayagarh observed World Youth Skills Day 2026 on 15 July 2026 with the objective of promoting the importance of technical and vocational skills among students. The programme witnessed the active participation of students, faculty members, and staffs.
The event commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, who emphasized the significance of skill development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning in enhancing employability and supporting sustainable development. Faculty members also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to continuously upgrade their technical, digital, and professional competencies to meet the evolving demands of industry.
To mark the occasion, an expert talk and student awareness programme were organized, highlighting the role of skill-based education in building a competent and future-ready workforce. Students participated with enthusiasm and benefited from the informative sessions.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their valuable contribution to the successful observance of World Youth Skills Day 2026.
