The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) extends its warmest congratulations to Prof. Abhay Karandikar on his appointment as Full-Time Member, NITI Aayog.

As the Founding CEO of ANRF, Prof. Karandikar played a pivotal role in guiding the Foundation since its inception and in shaping several important milestones, including advancing the vision for the Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) Fund and strengthening the national research and innovation agenda.

His leadership, foresight, and unwavering support have been invaluable to ANRF’s journey.

issues a critical advisory urging all stakeholders, including Directors, Deans, Nodal Officers, and Principal Investigators (P*s) across all academic and research institutions, to remain vigilant against fraudulent activities being carried out in its name.

Recent reports have highlighted instances where unidentified individuals are approaching institutions with fake grant-backed offers, demanding some percentage of the grant value, often misusing the names of popular ANRF schemes/programs to appear credible.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲:
• ANRF does NOT ask for any advance payments for grants or partnerships;
• Requests involving escrow transfers, urgency pressure, or unofficial email IDs are strong indicators of fraud;
• Use of institutional names without verifiable official domain emails should raise immediate concern;
• Verify all such communications through official institutional channels; and
• Share suspicious communications with ANRF at [email protected] before taking any action.

The Office of Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research, IIT Madras, is organising a Webinar Series on the completed R&D Projects funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, under the Core Research Grant (CRG) and Start-up Research Grant (SRG) schemes.

This webinar series (23 talks) will be conducted over a period of nine months starting from 1st April 2026. These talks will be given by the Principal Investigators (PI) of the respective project.

As part of the ANRF PAIR initiative, , serving as the Hub institution, is organizing a thematic workshop focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to strengthen research collaboration and capacity building among the hub and spoke institutions.
