Salute Gen Z at Ajoy Bhawan.

The CPI proudly saluted the extraordinary courage, determination and fighting spirit of the youth and students whose resolute movement compelled the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Their victory has reaffirmed a simple truth: when people unite with conviction, they can shape the course of history.

The felicitation programme was presided over by CPI General Secretary D. Raja and moderated by CPI National Secretary Amarjeet Kaur. CJP Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das attended the programme and appreciated the role played by AISF and other Left student organisations in anchoring the nationwide youth-student movement. The welcome address was delivered by AISF General Secretary Dinesh Seerangaraj, while AISF President Viraaj Devang proposed the vote of thanks.

Hundreds of young comrades were felicitated with roses and books by the CPI leadership in recognition of their courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment. The programme was attended by CPI National Secretariat members Dr. Bhalchandra Kango, Rama Krushna Panda, Dr. Girish and Annie Raja, along with National Executive members Ravula Venkaiah, Prof. Dinesh Varshney and Nisha Siddhu. The felicitation was followed by cultural programmes and celebratory slogans.

The struggle continues. The victory belongs to every student and every young person who refused to bow before injustice.

Leaders of the CPI, CPI(M) and CPI(ML) Liberation met today at the CPI-ML HQ, Charu Bhawan in New Delhi to discuss the current political situation and strengthen Left coordination.

The meeting was attended by CPI General Secretary D. Raja, CPI National Secretariat members Rama Krushna Panda and Dr. Girish; CPI(M) General Secretary M.A. Baby and PB Member Arun Kumar; and CPI(ML) Liberation General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya along with Ravi Rai, Sanjay Sharma, Sucheta De, Shweta Raj and Prabhat Chaudhary from the CPI(ML).

The three parties welcomed the historic victory of the student-youth movement that compelled the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and called for an end to the witch-hunt against student activists. They also agreed to develop closer cooperation on the trade union, farmers’, agricultural labourers’ and women’s fronts, while intensifying joint struggles to defend people’s interests, resist the Sangh-BJP offensive, and press for economic relief and the immediate implementation of 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies.

Loktantrik Janata Dal President Javed Raza visited the CPI Headquarters, Ajoy Bhawan, today and met with CPI General Secretary D. Raja and CPI National Secretariat members Dr. Bhalchandra Kango & Dr. Girish to discuss the prevailing political situation in the country. The discussions focused particularly on the evolving political scenario in the aftermath of the recent student movement, which has had a significant impact on the national political landscape.

The leaders also exchanged views on the forthcoming Assembly elections in various States and underscored the importance of strengthening coordination among secular and democratic forces. It was decided that consultations with other like-minded secular parties should be initiated at the earliest to evolve a broad understanding on the political challenges ahead and work towards a united democratic and secular alternative.

Moncada Day was observed today at Ajoy Bhawan, the Headquarters of the Communist Party of India, reaffirming our commitment to anti-imperialism, international solidarity, and the enduring ideals of the Cuban Revolution.

The 26th of July Movement, inspired by the historic Moncada Barracks attack in 1953 led by Fidel Castro, marked the beginning of the Cuban revolutionary struggle that eventually triumphed in 1959. Along with Che Guevara and countless revolutionaries, the Cuban people demonstrated that determined resistance can defeat imperialism and shape a sovereign future.

The programme was attended by CPI National Secretary P. Sandosh Kumar, MP, Nagendranath Ojha, Ex-MP, National Executive Member Nisha Siddhu, AIKS President Rajan Kshirsagar, AISF President Viraaj Devang, AISF General Secretary Dinesh Seerangaraj, and young cadres.

As we commemorated Moncada Day, we reaffirmed our solidarity with the people of Cuba and all those fighting against imperialism, exploitation, and injustice. The spirit of Moncada continues to inspire struggles for peace, sovereignty, social justice, and socialism across the world.
