Aam Admi Party for Aam Admi On November 26, 2012 the renowned political activist Arvind Kejriwal launched this political party of India at Jantar Mantar.

Arvind Kejriwal was initially working closely with another renowned political figure Anna Hazare. After internal dissention, Arvind Kejriwal has formed his own political party on October 2, 2012 to which Anna Hazare and some of his his prominent associates such as Kiran Bedi have thoroughly objected. A meeting was held in the Constitution Club, which included around 300 founding members. It was du

ring this meeting that Kejriwal had proposed the name Aam Aadmi Party for his political venture and it was accepted by the other members present in the meeting. Mayank Gandhi proposed the constitution for the party and his proposal was seconded by Chandramohan. Eminent politicians such as Digvijay Singh and Manish Tiwari have openly criticized the naming of the party.
