And then, out of blue , you get to spend a whole day with her.
And what a day it goes on to be. By the end of the day, she doesn't exactly hate you ,which is probably a first.
Then comes the crushing realisation that this is probably the last you'll see of her.
You part ways, the bittersweet tinge of life lingering on for a long time.
Life goes on.
But not without the hope that you will cross paths once again. Anyway, you have the memories.

It was 2009. I was in 9th grade. There was a short story in our English book by the name 'The Pendulum'. It had a character named Katy and I was madly in love with her. Well, infatuated would be the correct word.
I started writing an all out erotica between John and Katy. I had written like one and a half paragraph when my Mom asked me what was I doing. She asked Dad to check up on me. They snatched the notebook from me. Dad had maybe read a line when I jumped in and tore off that page and ran away. The whole day passed away awkwardly. They never mentioned it again

Garcia Marquez was considered one of the greatest Spanish-language authors, best known for his masterpiece of magical realism, One Hundred Years of Solitude.
The 1967 novel sold more than 30 million copies and he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982.
He achieved fame for pioneering magical realism, a unique blending of the marvellous and the mundane in a way that made the extraordinary seem routine.
With his books, he brought Latin America's charm and teaming contradictions to life in the minds of millions of people.
