Here are some snippets from our first visit to Kannan Animal Welfare (KAW) Shelter, Noida organized under Project MOWGLI. 🤩🤩
KAW primarily focuses on the rescue and treatment of severely injured stray animals in and around the Delhi NCR region.
They also focus on sterilization, feeding of strays, and rehoming of rescued animals.
This time around our volunteers got a chance to make some new paw-mates and spend some quality time with the dogs. They learnt certain basics of how to take care of these little creatures appropriately 🐶
Special mention to the Volunteers and Coordinator of Project Mowgli for their contribution to making the visit successful. 🤝💫

⚪️Monkeys like to climb, so provide a cage with plenty of height. Add branches, hanging ropes, and other features that will allow your monkey to climb around the cage.
⚪️Do not feed your monkey anything that is considered "junk food" for a human. Sugary treats, ice cream, baked goods, snack foods, fast food, and raw meat should never be fed to a monkey.

The first offline event of Project HansChetna— Harit Kaksha was conducted at Sarvodaya Kanya Vidhyala, Sr. Sec. Government School, Delhi on 9th March 2022. In the session, around 80+ students participated. 🌻
🌼The session begin with a general discussion related to the environment. Followed by topic-based teaching, drawing competition, and poem recitations.
🌼At last three best performers were awarded.
The overall session was engaging and helped students to understand and appreciate the environment. 🙌

Every animal on the planet requires care in the form of food, housing, and veterinary care. The majority of domestic animals' behaviour is largely influenced by how we treat them. They will undoubtedly show us the same love and respect if we treat them with care, love, and compassion.🌻
🔘Hay should make up the majority of a rabbit's diet. Rabbits should always have access to fresh hay. Adult rabbits should be fed timothy hay, grass hay, or oat hay, while baby rabbits should be fed alfalfa.
🔘In their surroundings, rabbits also require a Resting/Hiding area. Some rabbits prefer an enclosed box to hide in, while others prefer a box full of hay. A litter pan, untreated wicker or straw basket, or a cardboard box with an entrance hole and bottom removed can all be used.
