๐Ÿ“ขImportant Update for AAI Retirees & the ATCO Community ๐Ÿ“ข
โ€‹The ATC Guild (India) has formally approached the Member (HR), AAI, seeking urgent institutional intervention regarding the implementation of the landmark Punjab & Haryana High Court judgment (dated 27.05.2026) on EPS-95 pensions.
โ€‹Key Takeaways:
โ€‹The Judgment: The Hon'ble High Court has quashed the EPFO's restrictive pro-rata calculation circulars, ruling that pensions for higher wage options must be calculated on actual higher salary. EPFO has been directed to recalculate and release the correct benefits.
โ€‹The Guild's Appeal: To prevent widespread, individual litigation, the Guild has requested AAI management to take up the matter directly with EPFO HQ, designate a nodal officer for retired employees, and ensure a coordinated, uniform rollout of revised pensions.
โ€‹This proactive step by the Guild aims to safeguard the dignity and legitimate financial rights of our retired colleagues who served the organization for decades.
