Senior Congress leader and former National Coordinator of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), Shri Sibtain Shah, today organized a dynamic workers’ program in Duderhama, Ganderbal district. The event brought together dedicated party cadres, local leaders, and volunteers to deliberate on fortifying the Congress’s organizational framework, engaging grassroots voters, and reinforcing the party’s people-centric policies, while gearing up for the forthcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and District Development Council (DDC) elections & 2029 Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir.
The program, attended by over 150 Congress workers from across Ganderbal and adjoining areas including Beehama, Arch, Fatehpora, Giraj, Hathbura, Duderhama. Discussions focused on streamlining the organizational structure at block and panchayat levels to ensure efficient coordination and rapid response to local issues. Emphasis was placed on deepening ties with grassroots voters through door-to-door campaigns, community outreach initiatives, and issue-based dialogues, underscoring the Congress’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance.
Sibtain shah while Addressing said “Our policies are not mere promises but blueprints for empowerment—ensuring that every voice from the remotest village to the bustling town is heard and acted upon. In the upcoming ULB and DDC elections, we will showcase our vision of a progressive J&K, free from divisiveness and rooted in justice and equality, he added.
