Had a meaningful and insightful interaction with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Manjhi Ji, as part of the delegation of the Indian Industries Association (IIA), along with my colleagues Prof. Himanshu Panchal, Vice Chancellor, EdTech Skills University, and Shri Alok Mishra, OSD, Arunachal University of Studies.
Our discussions primarily focused on skill development and creating greater opportunities for the youth of Odisha, with particular emphasis on strengthening industry-academia collaboration and preparing young people for emerging employment opportunities.
It was particularly pleasing to witness the remarkable transformation taking place in Odisha. The State has emerged as one of the leading states of India in terms of development and economic progress. The fact that Odisha has been able to present a positive fiscal balance in the last year is a significant achievement and reflects the State Government's commitment to sound financial management and sustainable growth.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister's vision for empowering the youth through skills, education and employment is both encouraging and inspiring. IIA remains committed to working closely with the State Government in strengthening the skill ecosystem and contributing to the development of Odisha's young workforce.
