A Group of Volunteers established in May 2011 by the working professionals who were sorry about the state of traffic in Noida. The aim of group is to create awareness about Traffic Rules to save chaos on the road. The group has contacted different senior Noida Traffic Police (NTP) officers with the proposal of volunteering for traffic management and creating awareness using facebook. With this the

page with handle name “Noida Traffic Police” was created. The group got into focus of local and national Daily like TOI and Dainik Jagaran. Other citizens started joining the movement online through Facebook. Now the group consists of people from different walks of life, Software engineers, Businessmen, House wives and even students who are willing to participate in different volunteer activities to create Traffic Awareness. Now every week the traffic drives are organized where working professionals join hands with NTP to create awareness for traffic rules and also help to manage traffic. These activities are conducted on weekdays after office hours and on weekend mornings. The group is also conducting seminars in offices, schools and colleges on Traffic Rule awareness.
