Bailey Bridge at Awoora Nala – Work to Start Soon
On the directions of Hon’ble MLA Pahalgam, Shri Altaf Kaloo Ak Sahab, a joint team of the R&B Department, Pahalgam and Project Construction Division (PC Division-I), Srinagar has been deputed for the installation of a Bailey Bridge at Awoora Nala.
The work is expected to commence within the next 2–3 days.
We sincerely thank Hon’ble MLA Pahalgam Shri Kaloo Sahab for his quick intervention and prompt action in addressing this important public demand.
A big thanks to the Hon’ble MLA for his timely initiative on behalf of the people of Awoora.

MLA Pahalgam, Altaf Kaloo Ak(Kaloo), visited the restoration site at Abshar Park Bridge, Batkote, Pahalgam, to inspect the ongoing reconstruction work following the recent flash floods.
During the visit, he reviewed the progress of the bridge restoration, interacted with concerned officials, and directed them to expedite the work to ensure the bridge is restored at the earliest. He emphasized that timely completion is essential to restore safe and smooth connectivity for both local residents and tourists.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Altaf Ahmad Wani (Kaloo) also stated that he has taken up the matter of installing a Bailey Bridge over Awoora Nallah, and informed the public that the Bailey Bridge will be coming soon to restore connectivity and provide much-needed relief to the local residents.
