Raksha Bandhan Programme at BAC Rhenock

Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya organized a Raksha Bandhan Programme at the BAC Conference Hall, Rhenock, on 19th August 2026.

The programme was graced by B.K. Sister from Mangan and other members of the Brahma Kumaris, along with the officers and staff of BAC Rhenock. The programme was conducted in a warm and spiritual atmosphere, promoting the values of love, peace, harmony and brotherhood.

The participation of all officers and staff added significance to the occasion and contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.

SIR Hearing Successfully Completed at AERO Office, Rhenock BAC

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Hearing at the AERO Office, Rhenock BAC, commenced on **17 July 2026** and was successfully completed on **13 August 2026**.

During this period, a total of **2,454 hearings** were conducted covering **Part Nos. 2, 3, 7, 14, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27**.

The hearings comprised:

* **No-Mapping Hearings:** 678
* **Logical Discrepancy Hearings:** 1,776
* **Total Hearings:** 2,454

The successful completion of the SIR hearing was made possible through the **dedicated efforts and cooperation of the hardworking BLOs and the committed staff of BAC Rhenock**, who worked tirelessly throughout the hectic schedule.

We sincerely extend our gratitude to all the supporting staff for their valuable contribution, coordination and cooperation. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to the **Hon'ble Panchayats** for their continuous support and for kindly providing **snacks and lunch** during the hearing period.

80th Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳

BAC Rhenock proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day at Rhenock BAC on 15th August 2026 with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm.

The celebration was graced by the Hon’ble Zilla Panchayat, Rhenock–Tarpin Territorial Constituency, as the Chief Guest, in the presence of the Hon’ble Panchayat President and Panchayat Members of all GPUs under Rhenock Block, along with the Hon’ble OSD, Advisors, CLC President, BDO Rhenock, AD (PRI), SHO Rhenock, Fire & Emergency Services, their dedicated teams, office staff, and members of the local community.

The occasion was marked by the unfurling of the National Flag, patriotic spirit, and a renewed commitment towards the progress, development and welfare of our nation and community.

**SIR Hearing Conducted at BAC Rhenock**

As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), a scheduled hearing was successfully conducted yesterday at **BAC Rhenock-cum-AERO Office** for **Part No. 21**. During the hearing, **36 unmapped electors** appeared and submitted the required documents for verification.

The hearing was conducted smoothly with the support of the concerned officials and staff, ensuring a transparent and efficient verification process.

**Hearing Conducted under SIR**

The AERO-cum-BDO, Rhenock, **Shri Ram Kumar Gurung**, conducted the hearing for non-mapped electors of **Part No. 20** at Rhenock BAC as part of the **Special Intensive Revision (SIR)** process. The hearing was conducted in the presence of the Additional AERO, the BLO, the concerned non-mapped electors, IT staff, and other office staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the proceedings.

A total of **21 hearings** were successfully conducted and completed today in accordance with the scheduled process.

Rhenock BAC : 16/07/2026: Secretary, Rural Development Department and Electoral Roll Observer for the Special Intensive Revision, Mr. Anil Raj Rai, visited Rhenock BAC to review the preparations for the Claims & Objections process under SIR.

During the visit, he held discussions with the AERO, Assistant AERO, and BLOs of Part Nos. 19 and 27 of Rhenock Assembly Constituency regarding the preparations for the hearing of electors who were issued notices due to non-mapping with the last SIR conducted in 2002.

He emphasized the importance of conducting the hearing process fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the guidelines to ensure an accurate, error-free, and inclusive electoral roll. He further directed the AERO and BLOs to ensure that no ineligible elector is included and no eligible elector is left out during the revision process.

With reference to the circular issued by the Forest and Environment Department, Government of Sikkim, regarding the administration of the Green Pledge on 7th July 2026, Rhenock BAC successfully observed the Green Pledge on 07.07.2026 at 11:00 AM in the BAC Conference Hall.

The pledge was administered in the gracious presence of the Hon'ble Zilla Panchayat Members, Hon'ble Panchayats from all GPUs of Rhenock Block, and all officers and staff of the Rhenock BAC.
