The Inter-Village Archery Tournament, organized by the Linkey Youth Committee, culminated in an intense showdown between Linkey and Aritar at Lower Linkey in Khetbari, located within the 21-Gnathang Machong Constituency.

The event was honored by the presence of the area’s MLA, Smt. Pamin Lepcha, who praised the participants for their dedication and commended the organizers for their efforts in preserving and promoting the rich tradition of archery in the region.

Adding to the cultural experience of the tournament, students from EMRS Parakha captivated the audience with their vibrant traditional dance performances, transforming the event into not just a sports competition, but also a celebration of local heritage.

The Honourable MLA Smt. Pamin Lepcha Advocates for Commercial Spaces in Pakyong District Administrative Centre Project.

Pakyong, March 13: MLA Smt.Pamin Lepcha led a coordination meeting to discuss the ongoing construction of the Pakyong District Administrative Centre in Pachey, attended by Zilla Adhakshya Smt.Laden Lhamu Bhutia and District Collector Mr Rohan Agawane.

Madam Pamin Lepcha, emphasized the need for revenue generation strategies, suggesting the inclusion of organic stalls, small retail shops, and convenience stores within the administrative centre to encourage local entrepreneurship and create employment opportunities.

She highlighted the importance of allocating suitable spaces for these commercial activities, ensuring the building serves both government and commercial purposes. A commitment to sustainability was also discussed, with plans for a compulsory rainwater harvesting system to promote responsible water management.

All participants agreed on the discussed initiatives, and responsibilities were delegated to the relevant departments for effective implementation.

House Allotment under SGAY for Flash Flood Victims of Thek Village

Pakyong, March 13, 2025 – Honorable MLA Smt. Pamin Lepcha distributed house allotments under the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana (SGAY) to five families affected by the June 2024 flash flood in Thek village.

The ceremony was held at DAC Pakyong, attended by Honorable Zilla Adhakshya Smt. Laden Lhamu Bhutia and District Collector Shri Agwane Rohan Ramesh, among others.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang-Golay and Smt. Pamin Lepcha for their support in securing permanent housing. During the event, the MLA engaged with the families, highlighting the government's commitment to their welfare and dignity.

Smt. Pamin Lepcha also acknowledged the contributions of Chief Minister Tamang-Golay, Minister of Rural Development Shri Arun Upreti, and all involved departments for the initiative's success.
