आज दिनांक 22-10-2023 को मेला ग्राउंड जयसिंहपुर में राज्य स्तरीय दशहरा उत्सव के उपलक्ष्य में पशु पालन विभाग द्वारा कैटल शो (दुग्ध प्रतियोगिता) का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें गाय श्रेणी में प्रथम स्थान, श्री टिंकू, द्वितीय स्थान श्रीमति संजीव कुमारी व तृतीय स्थान श्रीमति अनीता कुमारी की गाय को प्राप्त हुए।
भैंसों की श्रेणी में प्रथम स्थान श्री सौरव, द्वितीय स्थान श्री शेखर व तृतीय स्थान श्री रूमेल सिंह की भैंस को प्राप्त हुए। इस प्रतियोगिता में विजेताओं का चयन
डा. वीरेन्द्र पटियाल, डा० नंदकिशोर तथा डा. संजीव कटोच द्वारा किया गया। सहायक निदेशक कैटल प्रोडक्शन पालमपुर, डा. अनीश कुमार की अध्यक्षता में स्थानीय उपमंडलीय पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारी डा. संजय अवस्थी व उपमंडल जयसिंहपुर के अन्य पशुचिकित्सा अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों द्वारा इस कैटल शो का सफल आयोजन किया गया।

On the night of 23-09-2023, in Ward No. 4 of Nagar Panchayat Baijnath-Paprola, someone had badly injured a stray bull by throwing hot water on it. The local bodies informed the higher officials of the Animal Husbandry Department for the treatment of the injured bull. The team of departmental doctors immediately reached the spot and provided proper treatment to the injured bull.

World Environment Day Celebrated by Department of Animal Husbandry in Jersey Cattle Breeding Farm Palampur

A meeting was held at Jersey Cattle Breeding Farm, Palampur, comprising senior functionaries and officers of animal husbandry department, on the occasion of World Environment Day and a plantation drive was carried out in the premises.Dr Ravi Prakash,Joint Director, Palampur, was the chief guest on this occasion.Dr Ravi Prakash, Joint Director, Palampur,Dr Naresh Kaushal,Deputy Director,Dr Sanjeev Sharma,Senior Scientific Officer , HP Pollution Control Board ,Dr Sandeep Mishra, Assistant Director,Dr Sujay Sharma, Assistant Director,Dr Vinay Sharma , Assistant Director and all senior veterinary officers and veterinary officers of Palampur establishment attended the plantation drive.A meeting cm orientation seminar was also organised on this ocassion for the participants on Biomedical Waste Management and Disposal in veterinary institutions ,whereby Dr Sanjiv Sharma ,Senior Scientific Officer, HP Pollution Control Board,explained in detail the minimum prerequisites for biomedical waste management and disposal at institution level and various records to be maintained and kept in institutions on regular basis The participants raised their queries and cleared whatever doubts they had on this topic .Dr Sandeep Mishra, thanked Dr Sharma for the enlightening talk and lively discussion ,and ensured HP pollution control board authorities of full compliance with the norms set for biomedical waste management and disposal and play a proactive role in protection of environment from various kinds of pollutants and effluents from veterinary institutions.

उपमंडल बैजनाथ के छोटा भंगाल में शनिवार शाम को आसमानी बिजली गिरने से लगभग 62 भेड़ बकरियों के मारे जाने पर पशुपालन विभाग के सहायक निदेशक पालमपुर डॉ संदीप मिश्रा ने तत्वरित कार्यबाही करते हुए रविबार को सुबह ही टीम मोके पर रवाना कर दी. टीम ने मोके पर पहुँच कर हालत का जायजा लिया और जो भेड़ बकरियां घायल थी उनको मौके पर ही उपचार दिया. पशुपालन विभाग के लोहारडी पशु चिकित्सालय के प्रभारी डॉ इंदरजीत सोनी ने बताया की सेंका राम, किरपु राम और गेजु राम निवासी मढेड़(sansal) की भेड़ बकरियाँ खुलरु (राजगुंधा) नामक स्थान पर आसमानी बिजली की चपेट में आ गयी थी. उन्होंने बताया की घायल भेड़ बकरियों को मौके पर ही उपचार दिया गया व भेड़पालकों को हुए नुकसान की रिपोर्ट जल्दी ही विभाग ब प्रशासन के उच्चाधिकारियों को प्रेषित कर दी जाएगी ताकि प्रभावितों को जल्दी राहत मिल सके.
