DMF Trusts were instituted under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act 2015 as non-profit trusts to work for the interest and benefit of persons and areas affected by mining-related operations.
Offers funds for citizens belonging to mining affected areas.
2-Tier Mechanism for Effective Administration of DMF (Trust)
• Managing Committee headed by District Collector for Project Approval
• Governing Council headed by District Collector for sanctioning of Project
• Project Management Unit (PMU)
Helps DMF in planning, supervising, and monitoring works undertaken by the District Mineral Foundation (Trust) in each district. Each mining district has one District Mineral Foundation Trust.

ITG has identified their IT Training Institute M/s Comtech Computer Academy under IT Knowledge Centers for taking up the above prestigious project of District Mineral Foundation (North-Goa) at Government Primary School, Gaokarwada-Mulgao, Bicholim-Goa for IT through ITKC project for imparting training under DMF funds free of cost to the mining affected citizens in the North Goa District areas/regions in the State of Goa (North-Goa).

The briefing also covered ITG’s contributions towards e-Governance, public service delivery, and technology-driven solutions across departments.

The interaction provided an opportunity to showcase ITG’s capabilities and reaffirm its commitment towards enabling efficient, secure, and citizen-centric digital services for the State.
