Notice Calling 6th Annual General Body Meeting of the PWD Sports & Recreation Club
Notice is hereby given to all the Members of the Public Works Department’s “PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT SPORTS & RECREATION CLUB, ALTINHO, PANAJI – GOA”, that the 6thAnnual General Body Meeting of the Members of PWD Sports & Recreation Club, Altinho – Panaji, Goa is hereby convened on Sunday, 29th January 2017 at 11:00am in the Menezes Braganza Main Hall, Panaji to discuss and deliberate the following agenda:
Agenda of the Meeting:-
1. To elect a President for the Meeting.
2. To admit persons to the membership of the PWD Sports & Recreation Club, Altinho, Panaji, Goa.
3. To endorse and confirm the Minutes of the 5th AGM of the PWDSRC held on 29.11.2015.
4. To discuss, deliberate and approve the Audit Report of the PWD Sports & Recreation Club for the Financial Year 2015-2016.
5. To finalize the conduct of the Public Works Departments’ Inter Sub-Division/Works Division/Circle Office various Sports tournaments and the PWD SRC’s State Level Inter Government Department various Sports tournaments to be held from February 2017 to May 2017.
6. To finalize the conduct of the 4th PWD Annual Social Day to be held in 2016-2017 as successfully conducted on 30/11/13, 28/03/15 & 12/03/16 at Ravindra Bhawan, Margao, during the year 2013-14, 2014-15 & 2015-16 respectively.
7. To design and update the website of PWDSRC, www.pwdsportsclubgoa.com
8. To design, print & publish the 3rd Annual Magazine of PWDSRC to be released in 2016-17, as successfully released the 1st & 2nd edition on 28/03/15 & 12/03/16 during the 2nd & 3rd PWD Annual Social Day.
9. To open Fixed Deposits in State Bank of India and Canara Bank, regarding the Corpus Fund collected by means of Fees from Members of PWDSRC.
10. To purchase a cupboard, laptop, printer and print all required stationary.
11. To request the PCE, PWD to allocate a room to the PWD SRC as the Club Office.
12. To appoint Auditors to prepare the Audit of PWDSRC for Financial Year 2016-2017.
13. To felicitate the Winners of various Sports Tournaments 2016-2017.
14. To felicitate all Life-Members, Volunteers, Sponsors & Well-wishers of PWDSRC on completion of 10 years of formation of PWD Sports & Recreation Club since its launch on 27/10/2004.
15. To conduct the Elections to elect the new Managing Committee & the new Working Committee for the period 2017-2022 to run the affairs of the PWD Sports & Recreation Club, Altinho - Panaji, Goa
16. Any other Agenda with the permission of the Chair.
17. To confirm the Minutes of the above referred 6th Annual General Body Meeting of the PWD Sports & Recreation Club, convened on Sunday, 29th January 2017 at 11:00am in the Menezes Braganza Main Hall, Panaji.
If there is no quorum at 11:00 am, the meeting shall be adjourned for half an hour and shall be reconvened at 11:30am and shall be held at the same place and the members present at such adjourned meeting shall form the required quorum.

All details are attached herewith, along with the email for the benefit of all the Members of PWD Sports & Recreation Club. Members may submit any other suggestions / any other items to be taken up in the agenda, etc to the President, PWD Sports & Recreation Club, Altinho, Panaji Goa by email [email protected] / hard copy on or before 25th January 2017. Intimations received after 25th January 2017 may not be considered. PWD Staff who are members of Goa PWD Staff Co-op Credit Society Ltd shall carry the identity card issued by the said Society for claiming travelling allowance of Rs.500/- while signing the said Society AGM attendance register, which will precede the AGM of PWDSRC.
