Engineer-in-Chief, PHE Sh. Devender Dahiya chaired a review meeting on 26.03.2026, at the PHE Circle, Kaithal. During the meeting, directions were issued by the worthy Engineer-in-Chief to accelerate project progress while ensuring the quality of work. The meeting was attended by CE (Mech.) Sh. Rajiv Batish, CE (Urban) Sh. D.K. Saini, CE (Rural) Sh. T.R. Panwar, along with field officers and officials. The review meeting was followed by an inspection visit to the STP at Siwan and other sites.

Today, Engineer‑in‑Chief, PHE, Shri Devender Dahiya, chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of works under Circle Bhiwani, and directions were issued by the Worthy EIC to accelerate the progress while ensuring quality of work. The meeting was attended by CE (Works) Shri Pradeep Kumar, CE (Programme) Dr. Jaswant Singh, along with field officers and officials.

जल महोत्सव पखवाड़ा के तहत नारनौल एवं करनाल में जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभाग एवं जल एवं स्वच्छता सहायक संगठन द्वारा कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए, जिनमें जल संरक्षण और जन‑जागरूकता के लिए सामुदायिक प्रयासों को प्रोत्साहित किया गया।

जिला पंचकूला के ग्राम पंचायत भुर्ज कोटिया में जल अर्पण दिवस और जल महोत्सव उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम में वीडब्ल्यूएससी सदस्यों, महिला पंचों, आंगनवाड़ी व आशा कार्यकर्ताओं तथा पीआरआई प्रतिनिधियों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी की। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता मुख्य अभियंता, श्री राजीव बतिश द्वारा की गई, जिन्होंने जल संरक्षण और जन-जागरूकता के लिए सामुदायिक प्रयासों को प्रोत्साहित किया।

Dr. Jaswant Singh, Director WSSO‑cum‑Chief Engineer (Prog.), chaired a review meeting in Rohtak, stressing the urgent need to boost revenue collection—especially in urban areas with high potential for improved recovery of water user charges. Officers from PHED Rohtak Divisions and WSSO team attended the meeting.

MoHUA, Govt. of India, organized the AMRUT Mitra Mahotsav at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 13.03.2026 to celebrate the inspiring work of Self-Help Groups under the AMRUT Mitra Initiative.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal.

DDWS, Ministry of Jal Shakti, organized the National Jal Mahotsav 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, graced by Hon’ble President Smt. Draupadi Murmu. Fifteen community champions from Haryana were honoured for strengthening rural drinking water management. Mission Director, JJM Haryana-cum CE (Mech.), Sh. Rajiv Batish also featured as a panelist in a special “World Plumbers Day” session.

Today, Engineer-in-Chief Sh. Devender Dahiya chaired a meeting to review the progress of key initiatives, including JJM, Jal Arpan Diwas, and AMRUT Mitra Mahotsav. The meeting was attended by CEs, Director WSSO, SEs, EEs, field officers, District Consultants, and BRCs of WSSO.

Dr. Jaswant Singh, Director, WSSO, PHED Haryana, chaired a review meeting at Fatehabad. District Consultants and BRCs from Sirsa and Fatehabad presented issues. The Director emphasized enhancing revenue collection in upcoming months.

Hon’ble MLA Sh. Ram Kumar Kashyap visited the 4 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Indri. The Hon’ble MLA also expressed his appreciation for the installation of the 180 KWp capacity solar power plant at the STP site, highlighting it as a positive step towards renewable energy utilization and operational efficiency.

Today, Hon'ble MLA Bhiwani, Sh. Ghanshyam Saraf Ji, visited the STPs at Dadri Road, Bhiwani, and inspected the same. He found the performance satisfactory. The MLA also discussed the functioning with Chief Engineer Dr. Jaswant Singh over the phone, and he is satisfied with the STPs' operation.

Today, Hon'ble MLA Bawani Khera, Sh. Kapoor Balmiki, visited the 4.50 MLD STP in the town of Bawani Khera, along with the Chairman of MC Bawani Khera. They reviewed the functioning and operational performance of the plant and appreciated the work of the STP by the Public Health Engineering Department.
