Building Goa’s Manifesto With the People at Its Heart

Goa Congress held a meeting at the South Goa District Congress Office, Margao, chaired by South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes, to deliberate on the Congress Party’s manifesto for the upcoming Goa Assembly elections.

The meeting was attended by GPCC Senior Working President M.K. Shaikh, South Goa District President Assiz Noronha, Kushavati District President Rajesh Verenkar, GPYC President Adv. Archit Naik, General Secretaries, Block Presidents from both districts, Mahila Congress leaders and other party functionaries.

Our manifesto will reflect Goa’s aspirations, protect Goa’s identity and present a clear roadmap for a better future for every Goan.

Goans deserve safety, not empty assurances.

CLP Leader Yuri Alemao raised serious concerns in the Goa Legislative Assembly over the deteriorating law and order situation, questioning the Government over crime, lack of convictions and the continuing drug menace.

If serious crimes fail to reach their logical conclusion, where is the deterrence and where is the justice?

The BJP Government must answer: What is its concrete plan to curb crime, dismantle drug networks and make Goa safer?

Goa needs action. Goa needs accountability. Goa deserves justice.
