ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ BSF ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇੱਕ MP-09 ਰਾਈਫਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ (4 ਗਲੌਕ, 2 ਜ਼ਿਗਾਨਾ ਅਤੇ 1 ਬੇਰੇਟਾ) ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਨ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਜੀ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ, ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਰੈਕੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the recovered arms consignment was sent by anti-national elements operating from across the border in connivance with gangster networks for targeted killings and to disrupt peace and communal harmony in .

An FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway to establish backward and forward linkages, identify all members of the network, and trace the foreign-based handlers involved in the smuggling racket.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰੋਂ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਝਟਕਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, 10 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਥਾਣਾ ਘਰਿੰਡਾ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ ਐਕਟ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਅਗਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ, ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਲੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੋ ISI-ਸਮਰਥਿਤ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਚਾਰ ਨਾਬਾਲਗਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਨੌਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ 3 ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ, 4 ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਤਲ ਬੰਬ ਅਤੇ 9 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ISI ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ, ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਨ, ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਪਟੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੈਮਰੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਮੋਹਕਮਪੁਰਾ, ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੀ-ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ISI-ਸਮਰਥਿਤ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ, ਇਸਦੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ, ਵਿੱਤੀ ਟ੍ਰੇਲ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were acting at the behest of foreign-based ISI handlers, who were attempting to recruit local youth to carry out terror-related activities, conduct surveillance of security installations, procure illegal weapons, and disturb public peace. The investigation also uncovered the installation of surveillance cameras near railway tracks, with footage allegedly shared with foreign handlers.

FIRs have been registered at Police Stations Mohkampura, Airport, and C-Division, Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to identify the remaining members of the ISI-backed network, establish its forward and backward linkages, trace the financial trail, and uncover any involvement in other terror-related activities.
