Awareness Drive on Cleanliness & Plastic-Free Environment
More than 50 students enthusiastically participated in an Awareness Drive on Cleanliness and Say No to Polythene & Single-Use Plastic. This drive was conducted as per the schedule and guidelines issued by the Punjab Pollution Control Board and Municipal Corporation, Patiala.
The drive was formally flagged off by the Headmaster.
The initiative reflected the school’s commitment towards building a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future.

The Yadavindra Public School fraternity deeply mourns the passing of Raja Randhir Singh - an illustrious Old Yadavindrian, five-time Olympian, Asian Games Gold Medalist, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, former Secretary General of the Indian Olympic Association, former Honourable Member of the YPS Board of Governors and one of India’s most distinguished sports administrators.

Having joined YPS in 1953 and completed his Senior Cambridge from the school in 1962, Raja Randhir Singh carried the spirit of YPS to the highest international sporting arenas. As a Member of the International Olympic Committee, his immense contribution towards strengthening and spreading the Olympic Movement across the world was deeply acknowledged and widely respected.

His remarkable achievements, visionary leadership and lifelong dedication to Indian and Asian sports brought immense pride to the nation and to his alma mater.

The entire YPS fraternity extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prays for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Yadavindra Public School, Patiala proudly marks a historic milestone with the unveiling of its New School Flag.
Addition of Goldstein House was announced by the Headmaster on 1st April 2026 at the commencement of the new academic session. The spirit of Goldstein house began taking shape with the house allocations on 13th April. During a special morning assembly, that spirit found its symbol as the New School Flag was ceremoniously unveiled by the headmaster. It was a moment filled with pride, nostalgia, and belonging.
A truly momentous occasion in the glorious history of YPS Patiala.

An online Round Square Postcard Meet hosted by Newcastle Grammar School, Australia was an enriching experience for Yadavindrians. Through powerful discussions on global crises, they explored critical questions around international aid, sustainability and the role of youth in shaping the future. A key highlight was the thought-provoking debate on the “Youth Mandate”—examining whether young voices should play a formal role in global decision-making.
Our students showcased confidence, insight and a strong global perspective, making it a truly enriching and meaningful experience.

Yadavindrians attended a Round Square online conference hosted by St. George's Diocesan School on “How Academic Pressure Affects Students’ Mental Health.” Mehmeet ,Sohila ,Paavni ,Noorpreet , Aradhita and Enayaat of class XII-Arts attended this highly engaging session and presented their perspectives, shared real experiences and addressed key challenges of academic stress.
Interactive quizzes and ice-breakers added energy to the discussions, making it a truly enriching learning experience that fostered awareness, empathy and confident expression.
