🚀 A Proud Milestone for Bihar’s Startup Ecosystem!

We are delighted to celebrate AgrIX Agrotech Private Limited for successfully raising significant institutional funding from leading Venture Capital Funds and investors.

The achievement was recognised at the Startup Bihar Stakeholder Dialogue, organised by the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, where AgrIX Agrotech was felicitated for its remarkable progress in securing venture capital investment.

Startup Bihar Stakeholder Dialogue: Strengthening the Startup Ecosystem

The Startup Bihar Stakeholder Dialogue was organised by the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, with the objective of strengthening the state’s startup ecosystem and building a more responsive support system aligned with the evolving needs of startups.

The dialogue brought together startups, banks, investors, incubation centres and Startup Cells for meaningful discussions on key areas including funding, capital market access, SME listing, investor readiness, technology, incubation, market access and banking support .

During the session, Shri Aman Sameer, Director, MSME, highlighted the importance of providing startups with the right guidance and institutional support from the early stage through scale-up, enabling innovative ideas to evolve into sustainable enterprises.

Shri Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director, Industries, reiterated the Department’s commitment to building a stronger and more capable startup ecosystem in Bihar, with a focus not only on financial assistance but also on technology, institutional support and market access. He also highlighted to streamline the selection process aimed at reducing manual intervention and saving approximately 15–20 days in the evaluation cycle.

🏆 Road Express Technologies Pvt. Ltd. & Ved Prabha Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. — for sustained and outstanding revenue growth over three consecutive years.

🏆 RCX Lite Pvt. Ltd. — for successfully securing investment after appearing on Shark Tank India.

🏆 Gaudrika Digital Labour Chowk Pvt. Ltd. — for successfully securing investment after being featured on Bharat Ke Superfounders.

🏆 Agrix Agrotech Pvt. Ltd. — for raising ₹9 crore from venture capital funds and other investors.

The programme concluded with an engaging interaction among startups, investors, banks, incubation centres and Startup Cells, focusing on the challenges, opportunities and support requirements of Bihar’s growing startup ecosystem.

TEJAS: Empowering Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Bihar

Under TEJAS, an initiative of DPIIT, Government of India – Startup India, with support from the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, impactful programmes were organised in Begusarai and Jamui.

📍 Begusarai: 250+ students, startups and innovators participated in sessions on Startup India, incubation, government support and entrepreneurship, along with a showcase of local enterprises.

📍 Jamui: The 24-hour TEJAS India Hackathon received 260+ team registrations, with 30 teams competing in the final challenge to develop technology-based solutions for real-world problems.

A Startup Bihar entrepreneur also shared insights from his Real-Time Imaging & AR/VR journey, inspiring young innovators to turn ideas into ventures.

Startup Bihar’s Statewide “Scale-Up & Market Access” Initiative

On World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2026, Startup Bihar, through the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, organised the statewide “Scale-Up & Market Access” programme across 47 Startup Cells in all 38 districts of Bihar, engaging 6,000+ innovators.

With the theme “Scale beyond the idea. Reach beyond the market” and the message “Start Local. Scale Global.”, the initiative focused on helping startups move from ideas and early stages towards product commercialisation, market access, business expansion and sustainable growth.

Across districts, the programmes brought together startup founders, entrepreneurs, students, industry experts, mentors, government officials and incubation ecosystem representatives.
