दिनांक 10 सितम्बर 2026 को श्री प्रधुम्न सिंह यादव, निदेशक, खाद्य प्रसंस्करण, बिहार सरकार ने बिहटा, पटना में PMFME योजना से सहायता प्राप्त खाद्य प्रसंस्करण इकाइयों का भ्रमण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने उद्यमियों से संवाद कर इकाइयों के संचालन, उत्पादन गतिविधियों एवं प्रगति की समीक्षा की तथा आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया।

भ्रमण के दौरान श्रीमती अनीता देवी की Natural Bee Farm, ग्राम-मुस्तफापुर, बिहटा, पटना का निरीक्षण किया गया, जहाँ शहद का प्रसंस्करण किया जाता है। इस इकाई को बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा, बिहटा शाखा के माध्यम से कुल ₹31.90 लाख की वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त हुई है। इसके साथ ही श्री अजय कुमार की Health Founder Mushroom Farm, ग्राम-चिकरिया, बिहटा, पटना का भी भ्रमण किया गया । इस इकाई को बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा, बिहटा शाखा के माध्यम से कुल ₹25.96 लाख की वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त हुई है।

यह भ्रमण PMFME योजना से सहायता प्राप्त इकाइयों की प्रगति को समझने, उद्यमियों से फीडबैक प्राप्त करने तथा उन्हें आवश्यक सहयोग एवं मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण रहा।
PMFME योजना के माध्यम से बिहार में खाद्य प्रसंस्करण, उद्यमिता, मूल्यवर्धन एवं रोजगार सृजन को निरंतर बढ़ावा मिल रहा है।

On 10 September 2026, Shri Pradhumn Singh Yadav, Director, Food Processing, Government of Bihar, along with the Manager, PMFME-SPMU, Bihar, visited the Integrated Irradiation and Packhouse Unit at Bihta, Patna.

The visit provided an opportunity to observe the facilities and understand the role of irradiation and modern packhouse infrastructure in improving post-harvest management, food quality, shelf life and value addition.

Such initiatives are important for strengthening Bihar’s food processing ecosystem and promoting modern infrastructure for farmers, food-processing enterprises and agri-based businesses.

Bihar Honoured as ‘Best State’ under PMFME 🏆

Bihar has been honoured as the ‘Best State’ in Highest Sanction Achiever Category under the PMFME Scheme for securing the highest number of approvals, recognising the state’s outstanding efforts in promoting micro food processing enterprises.

The achievement reflects Bihar’s growing focus on formalising micro enterprises, strengthening entrepreneurship, supporting local products and creating new opportunities in the food processing sector.

The prestigious award was presented by Hon’ble Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Shri Chirag Paswan to Shri Aman Samir, Director, MSME & Food Processing, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar.
