ICCR RO Patna hosted a 'Baithaki' organized by Folkartopaedia Foundation, wherein more than 30 artists and cultural personalities deliberated on promoting and preserving Bihar's art forms. Director, Bapu Tower Shri Vinay Kumar, DIG Shri Sushil Kumar, Shri Yadvendra Pandey, and Former Director, IIT Roorkee interacted with artisans. Eminent art writer Shri Anish Ankur and culturalist Shri Ravishankar Upadhyay shared their art experiences with young artists.

आईसीसीआर आरओ पटना में फोल्कआर्टोपीडिया फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित एक बैठक में 30 से अधिक कलाकारों और सांस्कृतिक हस्तियों ने बिहार की कलाओं को बढ़ावा देने और संरक्षित करने पर विचार-विमर्श किया। बापू टावर के निदेशक श्री विनय कुमार, डीआईजी श्री सुशील कुमार, श्री यादवेंद्र पांडे और आईआईटी रुड़की के पूर्व निदेशक ने कलाकारों से बातचीत की। प्रख्यात कला लेखक श्री अनीश अंकुर और संस्कृतिविद् श्री रविशंकर उपाध्याय ने युवा कलाकारों के साथ अपने कला अनुभव साझा किए।

ICCR Scholarship foreign students from Nalanda University, Rajgir, Central University of South Bihar - Official, IIT Patna and Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Nalanda explored the Bihar Museum in Patna, gaining deeper insights into Bihar’s rich heritage, history and cultural legacy. The museum beautifully highlights Bihar’s invaluable contribution to India’s civilizational history, including its traditions of learning, art, Buddhism and cultural exchange.

आईसीसीआर छात्रवृत्ति के तहत नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय, दक्षिण बिहार केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय, आईआईटी पटना और नव नालंदा महाविहार के विदेशी छात्रों ने पटना स्थित बिहार संग्रहालय का भ्रमण किया और बिहार की समृद्ध विरासत, इतिहास और सांस्कृतिक धरोहर के बारे में गहन जानकारी प्राप्त की। संग्रहालय ने बिहार के ज्ञान, कला, बौद्ध धर्म और सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान की परंपराओं सहित भारत के सभ्यतागत इतिहास में बिहार के अमूल्य योगदान को खूबसूरती से प्रदर्शित किया है।

An enriching visit to Arthshila Patna offered ICCR Scholarship foreign students from Nalanda University, Central University of South Bihar, IIT Patna and Nava Nalanda Mahavihara a unique space to experience contemporary art, culture and creative expression in Bihar. Known for promoting artistic dialogue, research and cultural collaboration, Arthshila provided students with meaningful exposure to India’s dynamic cultural ecosystem and Bihar’s growing role in nurturing creativity and intellectual exchange. The visit encouraged youth engagement through art, fostering cross-cultural understanding and deeper appreciation of India’s diverse artistic traditions.

Upon invitation from Lok Bhawan, Bihar, ICCR Scholarship foreign students from Nalanda University, Central University of South Bihar, IIT Patna and Nav Nalanda Mahavihara had the honour of engaging with the Hon’ble Governor of Bihar Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Syed Ata Hasnain in interactive session on “Youth, Culture and Diplomacy — The Indian Way” which provided students a unique platform to exchange ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and gain valuable insights from Hon’ble Governor. This memorable and impactful interaction session was joined by Faculty members from universities along with Regional Director ICCR Patna, Smt. Swadha Rizvi, IFS.

लोक भवन, बिहार के आमंत्रण पर नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय, सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ साउथ बिहार, आईआईटी पटना एवं नव नालंदा महाविहार के ICCR छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त विदेशी विद्यार्थियों को बिहार के माननीय राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (सेवानिवृत्त) सैयद अता हसनैन के साथ “युवा, संस्कृति और कूटनीति — भारतीय दृष्टिकोण” विषय पर आयोजित संवादात्मक सत्र में सहभागिता करने का गौरव प्राप्त हुआ।

इस विशेष सत्र ने विद्यार्थियों को विचारों के आदान-प्रदान, सार्थक प्रश्न पूछने तथा माननीय राज्यपाल से बहुमूल्य मार्गदर्शन एवं प्रेरणादायक विचार प्राप्त करने का अनूठा अवसर प्रदान किया।

यह यादगार एवं प्रभावशाली संवाद सत्र विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयों के संकाय सदस्यों तथा आईसीसीआर पटना की क्षेत्रीय निदेशक श्रीमती स्वधा रिज़वी, भा.वि.से., की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में सम्पन्न हुआ।

Today on 19 May 2026, Nalanda University, under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs, hosted its 3rd Convocation Ceremony at Rajgir, Bihar. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. P. K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, as the Chief Guest; Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.), Hon’ble Governor of Bihar; and Shri Rudrendra Tandon, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, along with senior officials from MEA and several other dignitaries. We are proud to share that 41 ICCR scholarship foreign students graduated today, successfully completing an important chapter of their educational journey in India. ICCR Patna extends heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wishes them continued success, prosperity and meaningful contributions toward strengthening global harmony and cooperation.

आज 19 मई 2026 को, नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय ने विदेश मंत्रालय के तत्वावधान में, राजगीर, बिहार में अपना तीसरा दीक्षांत समारोह आयोजित किया। इस कार्यक्रम की शोभा मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री के प्रधान सचिव डॉ. पी. के. मिश्रा; बिहार के माननीय राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल सैयद अता हसनैन (सेवानिवृत्त); और विदेश मंत्रालय में सचिव (पूर्व) श्री रुद्रेंद्र टंडन ने बढ़ाई। इनके साथ ही विदेश मंत्रालय के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और कई अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित थे।
हमें यह बताते हुए गर्व हो रहा है कि आज 41 ICCR छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त विदेशी छात्रों ने स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की, और इस तरह भारत में अपनी शैक्षिक यात्रा का एक महत्वपूर्ण अध्याय सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया। ICCR पटना सभी स्नातकों को हार्दिक बधाई देता है और उनके निरंतर सफलता, समृद्धि तथा वैश्विक सद्भाव और सहयोग को सुदृढ़ बनाने की दिशा में सार्थक योगदान की कामना करता है।
