*CRC Patna (Under the Administrative Control of NILD, Kolkata),* DEPwD, MSJE, Govt. of India 🏥 organized a *National Level Online Webinar Program* on the occasion of *“Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) 2026” on 18th May 2026* under the guidance of Dr. Lalit Narayan (Director, NILD Kolkata) and Dr. Anil Kumar (Director I/C, CRC Patna).

The inaugural address of the program was delivered by *Dr. Lalit Narayan, Director, NILD Kolkata,* while the welcome address was delivered by *Dr. Anil Kumar, Director I/C cm STTP I/C.* The introduction of the program was presented by *Shri Parthasarathi Swain, Program Coordinator.* All faculties and officials of CRC Patna were also actively present and support during the program.

The distinguished resource persons for the event were *Dr. Markanda Chandra Dash,* National President – OPAI & Treasurer – ISPO (India) and *Dr. Nazli,* Assistant Professor (Special Education), University of Delhi.

The webinar witnessed registrations from around *250 participants* across the country. Due to Google Meet application limitations, participation in the live session was restricted to 100 participants. The session proved to be highly insightful and informative, creating awareness about Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) 2026 and emphasizing the importance of digital accessibility, inclusive technologies, and equal access to digital platforms for persons with disabilities.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by *Dr. Rajendra Kumar Praveen* , Assistant Professor (Special Education). The program was interpreted by *Ms. Monika Singh,* Sign Language Interpreter, CRC Patna. The event was successfully coordinated and moderated by *Shri Parthasarathi Swain,* P&O/Program Coordinator, Department of Prosthetics & Orthotics, CRC Patna.

*CRC Patna (under administrative control of NILD, Kolkata)* organised a *National Level Webinar on World Schizophrenia Awareness Day 2026* on *26-05-2026* under the *AGP Programme*, under the guidance of *Dr. Lalit Narayan, Director, NILD, Kolkata and Dr. Anil Kumar, Director (I/c), CRC, Patna*
The theme of the webinar was *“Beyond the Headlines"*, _focusing on moving beyond stigma and crisis stereotypes to highlight the importance of early support, stable housing, and community-based care_.
The programme was inaugurated by *Dr. Lalit Narayan, Director, NILD, Kolkata*, with welcome address to the resource persons and participants. *Dr. Anil Kumar, Director I/c, CRC Patna* introduced the program. The programme was coordinated by *Ms. Swarn Lata, Physiotherapist (CDEIC), CRC Patna*.
The technical session on *“Understanding Schizophrenia – Management & Medical Treatment”* was delivered by *Dr. Sandeep Govil, Neuro-Psychiatrist, Delhi*. Another session on *“Psycho-Social Rehabilitation of Patients with Schizophrenia”* was conducted by *Dr. Sunita Devi, Head of Department & Assistant Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Psychology, NIEPID, Secunderabad, Telangana*.
An interactive discussion session with the resource persons was also conducted. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by *Shri Vidya Bhushan, Lecturer (PT) & Academic In-charge*.

A total of *542 registrations were received from different states across India*, out of which *290 participants* successfully attended the webinar. The webinar was highly informative and contributed significantly to raising awareness about schizophrenia, with emphasis on early intervention, rehabilitation, and community care.

*CRC Patna (under the administrative control of NILD, Kolkata)* in association with the *Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Magadh Mahila College, Patna* organised RCI-approved 2 Days Offline CRE Programme on *“Therapeutic Intervention and Management of Students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders”* on 19–20 May 2026 at Magadh Mahila College, Patna, under the guidance and support of *Dr. Lalit Narayan, Director, NILD Kolkata* and *Dr. Anil Kumar, Director I/c, CRC Patna*.
A total of *12 technical sessions* on various relevant topics were delivered during the programme. *134 rehabilitation professionals* from across Bihar attended the CRE programme.
The programme was inaugurated by *Prof. (Dr.) N. P. Verma, Principal, Magadh Mahila College, Patna University*, in the presence of *Dr. S. D. Mishra, Head, Department of Psychology, Patna University; Prof. Pushpalata Kumari, IQAC Coordinator, Magadh Mahila College, Patna University; Prof. Binay Kumar Bimal, Bursar, Magadh Mahila College, Patna University*; and Dr. Anil Kumar, Director I/c, CRC Patna.
The programme was coordinated by *Mr. Kumar Bharat Bhushan*, Developmental Therapist (CDEIC), CRC Patna and *Dr. Nidhi Singh,* Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Magadh Mahila College, Patna.
The program was very informative and useful for participants.

*सामुदायिक पुनर्वास परियोजना कार्य प्रतिवेदन*

*दिनांक : 20.05.2026*

भारतीय पुनर्वास परिषद,नई दिल्ली द्वारा निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रमानुसार सी.आर.सी. संस्थान,पटना में विशेष शिक्षा पाठ्यक्रम (दृष्टिबाधिता) शैक्षणिक सत्र 2024-26 (द्वितीय वर्ष) के प्रशिक्षार्थियों द्वारा *दो*(19 एवं 20) दिवसीय सामुदायिक पुनर्वास परियोजना कार्य सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न किया गया।इस परियोजना कार्य के अंतर्गत प्रशिक्षार्थियों ने विभिन्न स्थानों का भ्रमण कर दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों की स्थिति, उनकी आवश्यकताओं, पुनर्वास सेवाओं तथा समाज में जागरूकता से संबंधित गतिविधियों का अध्ययन एवं अवलोकन किया। साथ ही प्रशिक्षार्थियों द्वारा समुदाय में दिव्यांगता एवं पुनर्वास के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने का कार्य भी किया गया।
परियोजना कार्य के दौरान प्रशिक्षार्थियों ने दिव्यांगजनों एवं उनके परिवारों से संवाद स्थापित कर शिक्षा, पुनर्वास, दैनिक जीवन कौशल, सहायक उपकरणों तथा सरकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी प्रदान की। इस अवसर पर प्रशिक्षार्थियों ने सामुदायिक सहभागिता के माध्यम से समावेशी शिक्षा एवं सामाजिक सहयोग के महत्व पर भी वार्तालाप किया।
सभी प्रशिक्षार्थियों ने परियोजना कार्य को जिम्मेदारी के साथ पूर्ण किया तथा निर्धारित प्रारूप के अनुसार परियोजना प्रतिवेदन भी तैयार किया। यह कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थियों के व्यावहारिक ज्ञान, सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व एवं पुनर्वास संबंधी अनुभव को सुदृढ़ करने में अत्यंत उपयोगी हुआ।

*स्वक्षता कार्यक्रम*
आज दिनांक 9 मई को सी आर सी पटना में *डा0 ललित नारायण* निदेशक एन आई एल डी कोलकाता एवं *डाo अनिल कुमार* सहायक प्रोफेसर (नैदानिक मनोविज्ञान) प्रभारी निदेशक सी आर सी पटना के मार्गदर्शन में सी आर सी पटना छात्रावास के छात्र/छात्राओं के साथ सुबह 07 बजे से 09 बजे तक भारत सरकार के *स्वक्षता अभियान* को ध्यान में रखते हुए संस्थान के छात्रावास परिसर, खेल मैदान एवं फूल पौधों के आस पास जंगली पौधों का अभियान चलाकर स्वक्षता (साफ-सफाई) किया गया। इस *स्वच्छता* कार्य में श्री राजेन्द्र कुमार प्रवीण, श्री पार्थ सारथी स्वयं, श्री कुमार भारत भूषण, श्री लाल चन्द्र एवं छात्रावास के सभी छात्र छात्राओं ने बढ़ चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया, साथ ही उपस्थित अधिकारी, कर्मचारी व छात्र छात्राओं ने यह निर्णय लिया कि हर शनिवार को इसी तरह से *स्वच्छता* सेवा कार्य किया जाएगा।
