Bihar Takes a Major Leap in Industrial Growth with ₹51,600 Crore Worth of MoUs

Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Samrat Choudhary and the Guidance of Hon'ble Industries Minister Ms. Shreyasi Singh, the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, signed and exchanged MoUs with 10 leading industrial groups for proposed investments worth around ₹51,600 crore across key sectors including steel, energy, textiles and others.

The MoUs were signed and exchanged between Shri Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, and the authorised representatives of the respective companies at Sankalp Auditorium, Lok Sevak Awas, Patna, in the presence of Shri Pratyaya Amrit, Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, and Shri Kundan Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industries.

The MoUs were exchanged with Shyam Steel Manufacturing Limited, Shakambhari Ispat & Power Limited, Nakshatra Iron & Steel Private Limited, Shri Langta Baba Metals & Power Limited, Ankur Steel Private Limited, Shri Samriddhi Steel Private Limited, Global Renewable Advanced Clean Energy Private Limited (GRACE), Creative Group, Bharat Science & Innovation Private Limited, and Anubhav Apparels Private Limited.

The proposed investments mark another significant milestone in Bihar's journey towards accelerated industrial growth, enhanced investment, and large-scale employment generation, further reinforcing the state's emergence as a preferred destination for industries under the 'BuildnAndnBelieve In Bihar' initiative.

राज्य निवेश प्रोत्साहन बोर्ड ( SIPB ) की 69वीं बैठक विकास आयुक्त-सह-अध्यक्ष, राज्य निवेष प्रोत्साहन पर्षद श्री मिहिर कुमार सिंह की अध्यक्षता में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुई। बैठक में कुल 47 परियोजनाओं को स्टेज-1 क्लीयरेंस (₹1180.50 करोड़) तथा 11 परियोजनाओं को वित्तीय स्वीकृति (₹280.66 करोड़) प्रदान की गई। इस दौरान श्री कुंदन कुमार, सचिव उद्योग विभाग सह प्रबंध निदेशक, बियाडा एवं आएडा भी उपस्थित थे।

इस अवसर पर स्वीकृति प्रक्रियाओं को और अधिक सरल, पारदर्शी एवं त्वरित बनाने तथा निवेशकों के समक्ष आ रही व्यावहारिक चुनौतियों के प्रभावी समाधान पर गहन विचार-विमर्श हुआ।

Ltd., Anmol Industries Limited, WESTWELL BIOREFINERIES PRIVATE LIMITED, Eastern India Biofuels Pvt Ltd, Amritraj Green Energy Private Limited, Eastern Agro Chemicals Limited, M/S Balmukund concast Private Limited, Utkarsh Bio-Pulse, RAMESWARLAL BAJRANGLAL FOODS PRIVATE LIMITED सहित अन्य शामिल रहे।

उद्योग सचिव श्री कुंदन कुमार की अध्यक्षता में राज्य निवेश प्रोत्साहन पर्षद सचिवालय की 122वीं बैठक सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुई। यह बैठक हाइब्रिड मोड में आयोजित की गई, जो राज्य में Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) को सुदृढ़ बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।

बैठक में कुल 23 परियोजनाओं को स्टेज-1 क्लीयरेंस (₹197.76 करोड़) तथा 10 परियोजनाओं को वित्तीय प्रोत्साहन क्लीयरेंस (₹41.51 करोड़) प्रदान की गई।

प्रमुख निवेश प्रस्तावों में M/s Ganesh Consumer Products Limited, Nandan Kanan Farm Pvt. Ltd., M/S Ashoka Cattle and Poultry Feeds Ltd., J and J Agrovet Private Limited, M/S Janta's Food & Protein LLP, DEV India Projects Pvt. Ltd. (AMUL Milk Processing Unit), M/S Shri Laxmi Narayan Agro Rice Mill, Tirupati Industries, Edif Medical Systems, Kempty Beverages Private Limited, Anand Cold Storage तथा Twinkle Toes Hospital (A Unit of Kishori Jagdish Memorial Pvt. Ltd.) सहित अन्य परियोजनाएँ शामिल रहीं।

The Department of Industries, Government of Bihar successfully facilitated the participation of 10 industrialists from Bihar in an exclusive B2B Business Meeting organized in collaboration with the Trade Promotion Council of India at Le Méridien, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Vipra Pandey, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, along with the Chairman of the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam and representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce.

The Bihar delegation showcased a rich and diverse portfolio of premium agri and processed food products through leading enterprises, including: OCB Cakes – Millet Cookies, MOSO International Pvt. Ltd. – Makhana, RipuRaj Agro Pvt. Ltd. – Rice, Agrifeeder Agricultural Services Pvt. Ltd. – Katarni Rice, Herbal Tea & Sattu, GoRural Foods & Beverages Pvt. Ltd. – Sattu Sachet, Patliputra Farm Products – Rice, Natural Bee Farm – Honey, Madhubani Makhana – Makhana , Anantjit – Canned Food Product & Daniel Magnus – Spices.

The products received an enthusiastic response from Vietnamese importers, buyers, distributors, and business partners, opening promising avenues for export partnerships and long-term trade collaborations.

Ease of Doing Business: Building a Faster, Simpler & More Transparent Governance Framework

Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Pratyaya Amrit, a comprehensive review meeting was held to assess Bihar's preparedness for the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reforms, with a focus on the State Reform Action Plan (SRAP), District Reform Plan (DRP), and the Single Window System (SWS).

Shri Kundan Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industries, presented a detailed overview of Bihar's progress across key reform parameters, highlighting the status of departmental and district-level reforms, implementation of the Single Window System, preparedness for the national assessment, and the roadmap for timely completion of all pending reform actions.

As part of the district-level assessment, Purnea, Nalanda, Muzaffarpur, and Gaya have been nominated to the Government of India, while all districts have been directed to ensure effective implementation of the prescribed reforms.

The meeting was attended by the Heads of Departments, Shri Aman Samir, Director, MSME; Shri Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director, Department of Industries, GoB; and other senior officials from various departments.
