For the upcoming Ganesh Festival, we SOYF wanted to make it more eco friendly.

In association with Konark Arts. we organized at GANESH IDOL making workshop with Tech Mahindra Kothrud ( Pune ) premises. We had adult's and kids mixed combination for the workshop.

The goal of workshop was to avoid Soil and Water pollution. We have used Shadu Clay.Shadu Clay is a Natural clay. It is pollution free and helps to maintain the greenery environment. The clay has high plasticity. It is most suitable for making Idols.

We have avoided using PoP ( Plaster of Paris ) PoP does not dissolve in the water used in immersion tanks. The sludge formed is thrown in the open, which hardly gets decomposed thereby leading to soil pollution.

The color used on idols are water based with no harm to water body.

We once again thank Tech Mahindra for giving us the opportunity to conduct the workshop.

We celebrated Independence Day by organizing Blood Donation Camp's at 2 location's.

With current scenario of Viral infection and monsoons, with the help of donors. We have managed to 56 bag's of blood.

56 bag's = 168 lives to be saved.

Till date we SOYF have managed to get

188 bags = 564 lives can be saved.

Thank you Board of directors and volunteers for the endless effort to make the camp successful.

Adding pictures for the Just for Entrepreneurs India Pride 2022 award ceremony where SOYF was recognized and awarded in category of institutions that have made exceptional contributions towards people, society, or country which are monumental and lasting.
There were 50+ NGO nominated. The selection process was a scrupulous endeavour, we went through 2 rounds of interview by the panel which were ~30-40 min each. The judges calibrated us on various parameters to name few were work done since inception, long term vision, determination and positive attitude , intiatives to improve the quality of life in a community etc.

Congratulations once again each and every member of SOYF for this award !!!

SOYF organised a tree plantation drive which was conducted on 7/17/2022 at Ghoradeshwar Tekdi in Pune, Maharashtra where not only SOYF volunteers but their family members with their kids planted approximately 45+ saplings of neem , sacred fig , Banian , Gulmohar etc. We not only plant trees but consider them as our extended family hence we also focus on maintaining them all year round.

You can either donate saplings to SOYF to be planted in Pune, or join us with your team to run your own tree plantation drive. We also provide tree plantation services where we help companies and organisations do tree plantation. If you want to get started with us, simply leave a comment or message.

We at SOYF have always been in pursuit to find the right people and make sure the help goes to the needy. One of our initiatives is to help the millions of underprivileged children in India stay clothed, in school, and healthy. On the auspacious birthday occassion of one of our team members Krushna Deshmukh we had an opportunity to do our bit where we helped students of " Aksharsparsh matimand nivasi vidyalaya " in Pune for their educational needs - (School bags, compass box, drawing books, paint color boxes stationery etc) .
Special vote of thanks to Deepali Nikhal who is founder of Aksharsparsh and the contributions she is in making to make sure underprivlege children with special needs get the right to education so they stand on their feet .

On the eve of 73rd Republic Day, we arranged a blood donation camp at Aishwaryam Courtyard Society in Chikhali in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

We were overwhelmed by the participation, not only youngsters, we also saw significant participation from women's as well.

The collection at the end of the day was 56 bag's. i.e 168 life's to be saved.

Till date we have contributed 132 bag's of blood. Which can save lives of 396 individual's.

Yesterday we arranged a blood donation camp at dighi.

We were able to gather 26 bag's. We thanked our donors with giving them tulsi saplings.

26 donors can save up-to 80 lives.

We have started for Marathon for blood collection.

April. - 20 bag's
October. - 30 bag's
December - 26 bag's

So far blood collected can save up-to 250 lives.

We initiated project CLEAN WATER FOR ALL with our CSR partner HUMAN CLOUD

The team of SOYF yesterday installed water purifiers at Dehuroad police station and Out post Sub-police station.

All the Board of directors participated for the cause.
