🎓 **A Warm Welcome to the New Batch of B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration (2026–29)!** 🌟

The first day of the academic journey for our newly admitted B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration students was filled with enthusiasm, inspiration, and warm interactions at the **Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (PIHMCT)**.

Our Principal, **Mrs. Rita Mitra**, warmly welcomed the students and their parents and shared her vision for nurturing future hospitality professionals. The students were also addressed by **Mr. Bappa Kundu (HOD)**, **Mr. Gadi Jagannadh (Senior Lecturer)**, **Mr. M.P. Pandian (Senior Lecturer)**, and **Mr. Bibek Nandi (Assistant Lecturer)**, who introduced the students to the institute's academic culture, discipline, and career opportunities.

The session concluded with tea and refreshments, followed by a guided tour of the institute, giving students and parents a glimpse of the excellent learning environment and facilities.

The orientation continues over the next two days, during which **eminent hoteliers from the hospitality industry** will interact with the students, sharing valuable insights and inspiring them as they embark on their professional journey.
