Hon’ble Minister, Rural Development reviewed "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐧-𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐆𝐍𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐀 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐒𝐒 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐘𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒-𝟐𝟓” on 04-07-2024 at 11:30 AM at the Conference Hall, DRDA.

"𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐒𝐀𝐕 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥" were conducted in 5 panchayats of Villianur Block and in 5 panchayats of karaikal Block.

Totally 𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 to villianur and karaikal blocks. Planted photos were documented with GPS.

Second day (04-07-2024) demonstration class on "𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐨 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥" under Farm Livelihoods Component (NRLM SCHEME) for SHG Members of Ariyankuppam and Villianur block at veterinary College, RIVER, Puducherry.

Three days Training on "𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐨 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥" under Farm Livelihoods Component (NRLM SCHEME) for 39 Rural SHGs women farmers (Ariyankuppam & Villianur Block) from 3.7.2024 to 5.7.2024 at The Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, veterinary College RIVER, Kurumbampet Puducherry.

Today no of participants were 32 out of 39 members.

A stakeholder meeting on” 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐆𝐍𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐀 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒-𝟐𝟓” was conducted under the chairmanship of Secretary to Govt. (Rural Development) -cum-Chairman (DRDA) Puducherry on 26-06-2024 at 3.00 PM in Conference Hall, DRDA, Puducherry.

The Project Director, The Project Officer, Scheme Officials of DRDA, Officials from line departments PWD, LAD, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, School Education and from Commune Panchayat were participated.

Hon’ble Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs & Rural Development Shri. A.K. Sai J. Saravanan Kumar Inaugurated Bhumi Pooja for MGNREGA, work at Thiruvandarkoil southwestern side Eri(Pond) of Villianur Block Puducherry(UT)
In this inauguration EE, BDOs, JBDOs, AE, EO, Office Staff, Work Inspector, GRS, along with MGNREGA Beneficiary and local Community participated.

Scheme Name : - Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 (MGNREGA).

Work Site:- Kazhumedu eri(Pond) at Poovam Village Panchayat, Karaikal Block of Puducherry.

MGNREGA is one of the largest work guarantee programmes in the world launched in 2005 by the Ministry of Rural development.

o The primary objective of the scheme is to guarantee 100 days of employment in every financial year to adult members of any rural household willing to do public work-related unskilled manual work.
In this context MGNREGA Employee of Poovam Village Panchayat, Karaikal Block completed the work Desilting of Kazhumedu eri(Pond). It will improve further water retain capacity of the pond.
