After my personal follow-up and intervention, the critical work to replace and realign the drinking water pipelines away from the open drain at MLA Mohalla, Konibal (Munpora–Pampore Road) has finally started on the ground!
A heartfelt thank you to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama and ADC Awantipora for their swift administrative intervention and prompt support in securing the necessary clearances.
Special gratitude to AEE Jal Shakti (PHE) Pampore, Er. Ilyas Ahmad, and the entire PHE ground team for prioritizing public health and executing this vital work without delay.
Seeing this long-standing issue finally being resolved brings immense relief to our entire community. Grateful to the administration for taking cognizance of our representation and translating it into concrete action on the ground!

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our close relative, Assad Ullah Wani of Ladhoo Batpora, who departed this temporary world after a brief illness early this morning.
His sudden demise has left our family, relatives, friends, and the entire community deeply heartbroken.
He will always be remembered for his warmth, gentle nature, and the cherished memories he shared with everyone around him.
May Allah ﷻ forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his resting place, and grant him the highest abode in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
May Allah also bestow immense patience (Sabr-e-Jameel), strength, and solace upon the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Public office demands governance, not optics.
When official visits are reduced to staged photoshoots, it trivializes the daily struggles of ordinary citizens. Health Minister Sakina Itoo and MLA Pampore Justice Hasnain Masoodi must understand that visiting a constituency is an exercise in administrative accountability, not an exercise in personal PR.

The people do not need curated camera angles, rehearsed handshakes, or social media updates. They need functional healthcare infrastructure, staff in local clinics, and clear timelines for resolving grievances. If an official visit leaves behind nothing but photographs and unaddressed complaints, it only exposes the growing distance between elected representatives and the ground reality.
Leadership begins with listening.
Step out from behind the cameras and start delivering actual solutions.

A heartfelt thank you to the District Administration Pulwama, the ADC Office Awantipora, and the entire team of Jal Shakti (PHE) Pampore for finally stepping in to address a critical issue! 🙌

Having personally pursued and followed up on this matter from start to finish, it is a tremendous relief to see our efforts yield results.

For the past two years, the drinking water pipes running directly inside the open drainage near MLA Mohalla, Konibal (Munpora–Pampore Road) have posed a serious risk of water contamination and severe waterlogging.

The authorities have officially taken cognizance, and the deteriorated pipelines will finally be replaced and realigned away from the drain.

Sincere gratitude to the administration and the PHE Pampore team for prioritizing public health, hearing our representation, and setting this crucial work in motion. Looking forward to seeing the ex*****on completed on the ground soon! 👏💧
