BJP Youth Wing Protests in Srinagar Over Power Cuts, Warns Govt of Public Backlash
In Srinagar, BJP J&K State General Secretary Majid Khan, along with District President Youth Srinagar Yash Parimoo Bjp State Secretary BJP Youth Imran Bukhari and Workers, staged a protest against frequent power cuts and alleged disconnection drives by the electricity department across several areas. Demonstrators raised concerns over erratic supply during ongoing critical conditions, calling the situation deeply distressing for residents.
Addressing media, Majid Khan accused the department of adopting harsh measures, stating that people are already grappling with shortage of LPG gas supplies and added pressure from power disruptions has worsened public suffering.
He issued a stern warning to the J&K administration, urging immediate corrective steps and restraint in enforcement actions. Khan asserted that BJP will continue to stand for public welfare if issues remain unresolved.
He further emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is actively working on solutions to mitigate challenges being faced by citizens across the country.
