This activity was held on 22nd of Dec at Manavya orphanage. This orphanage is situated in bhugaon Pune. We spent 2-2 and half hours with the children there.
We conducted various activities including story telling and games. The activity was quite interesting as there was 100% participation from both the sides.
As a token of gift and love we gave them pouch with stationary and cupcakes.
The smile on the faces of the children was unforgettable and had made our day.

PLASTIC COLLECTION DRIVE
‘BAN THE PLASTIC’. The announcement made by the government shook every one of us. The heaps of plastic at home weren’t of any use! Hence we the kalam fellows decided to solve this problem for our fellow mates. We conducted a plastic collection drive in our college, where every student can give away the plastic which they had at their homes. We collected plastic bags, plastic bottles and plastic boxes. The drive went on for 5 days and we had a great response. All the collected plastic was given to the NGO to recycle it. Banning the plastic gave us another exciting activity.

A cleanliness drive on ARAI hill was decided by the Kalam Centre team.
As soon as the team reached at the top they decided to separate the dry waste and glass bottles. Around 25kgs of waste was collected.
