🚨 IIT BOMBAY FACULTY & STUDENTS MARCH IN SUPPORT OF PROF. SURYANARAYANA DOOLLA

IIT Bombay faculty members held a march supporting Prof. Suryanarayana Doolla, saying he followed Senate-approved exam procedures when he reported second-year student Sahil Wakode for alleged phone use during an exam on Sept 18.

Wakode’s family has named Doolla in an FIR under BNS Section 108 and the SC/ST Act, alleging caste-based harassment. IIT Bombay has denied the caste-discrimination allegation, while the Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating.

A viral video from an express train raises serious questions. A woman passenger allegedly tore her own clothes when the TTE asked for her ticket and then threatened to frame him. She also reportedly gave misleading information over the phone. If there had been no video recording, the TTE could have faced a case first—and later, his entire family might have been dragged into the ordeal before the truth emerged. One video can sometimes make the difference between an allegation and the truth.
