We are proud to share that Nature Connect India Pvt.Ltd.- a private arm of AERF has been awarded international FAIRWILD certification for the fourth successive year for best practices in sustainable biodiversity use and fair and transparent benefit sharing mechanism. Nature Connect also became the only private sector company in South Asia to export pilot shipments of FAIRWILD certified Triphala, Haritaki and Bibhitaki husk to Europe. With this approach we are creating truly sustainable income generation opportunities for local communities and saving invaluable biodiversity from the northern Western Ghats.

Nature Connect is a company established to create a business case for biodiversity conservation in the Western Ghats - a global biodiversity hotspot. It works with indigenous community in Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary and Ratnagiri districts for achieving value chain driven conservation outcomes. It has established community based FAIRWILD certified supply chains for conservation of two medicinal trees and surrounding habitats in the northern Western Ghats.
