Ajit Foundation has developed an innovative, child-centric model to assess the quality of the School Nutrition Programme. Moving beyond routine paperwork and formal records, this model actively captures direct feedback from students on the quality of meals they receive. By systematically documenting children’s experiences, satisfaction levels, and expectations, the model ensures a transparent, regular, and authentic feedback mechanism, strengthening the effective implementation of the nutrition programme on the ground.

If implemented across the state, this approach has the potential to bring significant qualitative improvements to the school nutrition system. In this context, Mr. Mahesh Nimbalkar, President of Ajit Foundation, has urged the government to take proactive steps toward adopting this model at a wider scale.

शालेय पोषण आहारासाठी अजित फाऊंडेशनने एक नाविन्यपूर्ण मॉडेल विकसित केले असून, या मॉडेलमध्ये पोषण आहाराच्या दर्जाबाबत केवळ कागदोपत्री नोंदी न ठेवता थेट विद्यार्थ्यांचा प्रत्यक्ष सहभाग नोंदवण्याची प्रभावी व्यवस्था करण्यात आली आहे. या माध्यमातून मुलांच्या प्रतिक्रिया, अनुभव व समाधान यांचा थेट आणि पारदर्शक आढावा घेता येतो. हे मॉडेल राज्यभर राबवण्यासाठी शासनाने पुढाकार घ्यावा, अशी मागणी अजित फाऊंडेशनचे अध्यक्ष महेश निंबाळकर यांनी केली आहे.

दैनिक लोकसत्ता मध्ये प्रकाशित ‘एका झऱ्याची गोष्ट’ हा लेख आदरणीय श्री. दिनेश गुणे सरांनी माझ्या धडपडीवर विशेषतः लिहिला होता. त्या लेखामुळे खऱ्या अर्थाने माझ्या सामाजिक कार्याला आणि ‘अजित फाऊंडेशन’च्या उभारणीला भक्कम आधार मिळाला.

वंचित आणि शालाबाह्य मुलांच्या जीवनात उज्ज्वल किरण निर्माण करणाऱ्या विनया निंबाळकर यांच्याबद्दल आज दैनिक 'दिव्यमराठी'ने 'नवदुर्गा' शीर्षकाखाली विशेष बातमी प्रकाशित केली.

Girish Fighting for His Life – Ajit Foundation Extends a Helping Hand!

Girish Vaibhav Dure – a 16-year-old boy,
a resident of Vitthal Nagar, Barshi. For the past few days, Barshi has been witnessing heavy rains. On one such rainy night, Girish stepped out of his house to get milk. The wet road, mud, and darkness… and while walking, his foot accidentally landed on a venomous snake! Within seconds, the snake bit him, and Girish collapsed in pain.

He was immediately rushed to Jagdale Mama Hospital and is currently undergoing critical treatment. Girish lost his father a few years ago, and his mother, who works as an ST bus conductor, is the sole breadwinner, somehow managing the household expenses. The Dure family is in extreme financial distress.

Girish’s friends came forward and managed to collect some funds, but the cost of treatment is very high. Upon receiving this distressing news, Ajit Foundation contributed ₹10,000 from its Medical Help Fund towards Girish’s treatment.

Additionally, Mr. Mangesh Chivate, Head of the Deputy Chief Minister’s Medical Help Cell, personally spoke to the hospital administration and instructed them to provide prompt and effective treatment for Girish.

Today, we all can do just one thing –
Pray for Girish’s speedy recovery and that this storm passes for the Dure family.
May this small act of help give Girish a new ray of hope and a chance to live again.

पितृपक्ष में करें अन्नदान… पुण्यदान!

पितृपक्ष का यह पावन अवसर हमें अपने पूर्वजों की स्मृति में दान-पुण्य करने का संदेश देता है। इस समय किया गया अन्नदान सबसे बड़ा पुण्य माना जाता है। जब हम किसी भूखे को भोजन कराते हैं, तो वह केवल अन्नदान नहीं होता, बल्कि प्रेम, आशा और जीवनदान होता है।

अजित फाउंडेशन के अंतर्गत वंचित और उपेक्षित बच्चों के लिए आप यह पुण्य कमा सकते हैं। ये बच्चे बेहद कठिन परिस्थितियों से आए हैं। उनकी आंखों में सपने हैं, लेकिन पेट की भूख भी है। उनके थाली में भोजन का एक कौर परोसकर आप न सिर्फ उनका जीवन संवार सकते हैं बल्कि अपने पूर्वजों का आशीर्वाद भी पा सकते हैं।

आपका छोटा-सा सहयोग इन बच्चों के चेहरों पर मुस्कान ला सकता है I आपका दान करमुक्त है। आइए, इस पवित्र कार्य में सहभागी बनें और इन मासूम बच्चों को प्रेम और आशा का संबल दें।
