On July 29, 2025, the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Economic Development Department and the India Board Karlsruhe, hosted a specialist event on “Skilled Workers & Trainees from India.” More than 130 representatives from business, public administration, and education took part.
Through presentations, panel discussions, and sector-specific focus groups, successful examples of collaboration with Indian talent were showcased and further potential was highlighted. Contributions came from representatives of politics, business, educational institutions, and chambers. A special highlight was the discussion between SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and German partners on university cooperation.
The event clearly demonstrated that targeted international cooperation can make a significant contribution to securing the skilled workforce needed across various sectors.
