๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž. ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐.

On the occasion of VK Group Foundation Day, Sustainability Initiatives along with VK Group and in collaboration with Deenanath Mangeshkar Blood Bank organized a voluntary blood donation camp that received an overwhelming response from employees, volunteers and partner organizations.

The drive recorded 146 registrations and 102 successful blood donations, reaffirming our shared commitment to saving lives. Employees from VK Group, Strudcom, Muttha Associate and several other organizations enthusiastically participated.

The camp was conducted safely by the expert medical team from Deenanath Mangeshkar Blood Bank.

The programme was graced by Corporator Puneet Joshi, Mr. Shivraj Sutar, Ar. Vishwas Kulkarni, Ms. Apoorva Kulkarni, Dr. Poorva Keskar, Ar. Vijay Sane and Mr. Upendra Deshpande. The event was successfully coordinated by the teams of SI & VK Group. Appreciating the initiative Mr. Puneet Joshi and Shivraj Sutar highlighted the importance of regular voluntary blood donation. Ms. Apoorva Kulkarni (Trustee of SI) emphasized that blood donation is an opportunity to save lives and support patients who depend on a continuous supply of blood.

Together, SI and VK Group have inspired 385+ voluntary blood donors, strengthening a culture of compassion and community service.

An inspiring day of learning, dialogue, and collaboration at the SAMYAK ร— Sustainability Initiatives workshop, "From Social Challenges to Policy Response: A Journey of Policy Making."

Bringing together 30+ enthusiastic participants, the workshop explored how public policies are conceptualized, developed, and implemented to address real-world social and environmental challenges. Through interactive discussions, collaborative activities, and expert insights, participants gained practical exposure to evidence-based policymaking while strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Our sincere gratitude to Ms. Sangeeta Godbole (Retired Indian Revenue Service Officer) for sharing her invaluable expertise and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

Jointly organized by SAMYAK โ€“ Centre for Social Studies and Capacity Building, School of Education, DES Pune University, and Sustainability Initiatives, Pune, the six-month fellowship aims to nurture research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based approaches to addressing social and environmental challenges.

On 11th July 2026, Sustainability Initiatives, in collaboration with the Bhamburda Forest Department and Maha NGO Federation, successfully conducted its 9th Tree Plantation Drive at ARAI Hills, Pune.

Together, we achieved:

๐Ÿค 20+ Partner Organisations
๐ŸŒฑ Miyawaki Plantation Method

This drive brought together students, professionals, NGOs, senior citizens, children and specially-abled individuals, proving that environmental conservation becomes truly impactful when communities unite.
