SOFOSH SOFOSH is into patient welfare and runs two child care institutes for destitute children. SOFOSH's programs include:

Society of Friends of Sassoon Hospitals, or SOFOSH, was founded in 1964 by a group of public spirited citizens. The aim was to supplement the medical services provided by the hospital through a range of humanitarian services for crisis affected patients & their families, and to support the hospital itself by these providing much needed facilities. e. Nutrition Clinic and Health Education Program
f. Donation of useful equipment to the hospital
