🌸 Celebrating Those Who Inspire, Educate & Transform Lives 🌸

Teachers’ Day Felicitation | 4th September 2026

Teachers do much more than teach lessons from books — they shape minds, nurture confidence, inspire dreams and quietly help build a better society. 🌱📚

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Rotary Club of Pune Sanskruti had the privilege of organising a special Felicitation Function to honour inspiring individuals who have dedicated their lives to education, knowledge, culture, wellness and social service.

✨ Kalika Mujumdar Gandhi — whose remarkable journey of working with special children reflects compassion, commitment and the belief that every child has immense potential.

✨ Manjiri Parag Damle — an inspiring journey combining Yoga, health, discipline and social service, touching the lives of countless people through knowledge and dedication.

✨ Smt. Suhas Jain-Kahate — a distinguished classical, semi-classical, Sufi and light music vocalist and teacher, carrying forward the richness of music and culture through her lifelong pursuit of learning and teaching. 🎶

Each of these inspiring personalities reminds us that education extends far beyond the classroom. It is about empowering people, preserving values, discovering potential and making a meaningful difference in society.

🙏 Rotary Club of Pune Sanskruti is honoured to celebrate and felicitate such inspiring lives.

To all teachers, mentors and educators — thank you for lighting the way for generations to come. ❤️

**Ro. Meera Tai, Ro. Pragya, Ro. Rajshree, Ro. Suhas Tai, Sangeeta Tai, Shyam Shedge, सौ.

*Because every child deserves to smile, learn and dream. 🌈*

Rtn.

📚 An Inspiring Journey Through History! 🏛️
On 24th July, the Rotary Club of Pune Sanskruti had the privilege of conducting its club meeting at the Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal, Pune.
We were deeply honoured to be guided by Shri Pandurang Balkawade, whose insightful narration brought history to life. His vast knowledge helped us appreciate the remarkable contributions of the great personalities who shaped our nation and our heritage.
Witnessing the original handwritten manuscripts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj, along with several rare historical artefacts, documents, and architectural treasures, was truly a humbling and unforgettable experience. Every exhibit reflected the rich legacy of our ancestors and inspired us with a renewed sense of pride and gratitude.
A large number of our club members attended the meeting, making it an enriching session filled with learning, fellowship, and meaningful conversations. It was yet another memorable chapter in the journey of the Rotary Club of Pune Sanskruti, strengthening the bond that unites our Sanskruti family.

🌸 Empowering Young Minds. Promoting Health & Dignity. 🌸

Rotary Club of Pune Sanskruti successfully conducted an impactful awareness session at Raosaheb Patwardhan Vidyalaya & Junior College, Parvati, where our club member Rtn. Dr. Nilesh Balkawade addressed students on the importance of menstrual hygiene, health awareness, and personal well-being.

As part of this meaningful initiative, the club also announced the installation of a Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine and a Sanitary Napkin Disposal Machine, ensuring that young girls have access to safe, hygienic, and dignified menstrual care within their school premises.

The interactive session encouraged students to ask questions, dispel myths, and gain confidence in discussing menstrual health openly. Together, we are creating healthier schools and empowering the next generation with knowledge and essential facilities.
