Drain desiltation work is in full swing from Dhoba Sahi Culvert to the WWTP point at Urban Hata through a combination of mechanical and manual cleaning. The removal of accumulated silt and debris is restoring the carrying capacity of the drain, improving wastewater flow, preventing waterlogging, and strengthening sanitation infrastructure for a cleaner and healthier Puri.

Team PMC, through its Swachh Sathis, conducted an awareness and leaflet distribution drive along Grand Road to encourage vendors and commercial establishments to maintain dustbins and ensure proper waste disposal. Establishments were informed that dumping garbage on roads is prohibited and may attract penalties.

A clean Grand Road is a shared responsibility. Let us all work together to keep Puri clean, hygienic, and welcoming.
