₹30,000 electricity bill every month?

From 2024 till now, the bill has reportedly reached 3,30,000.

A man from Uttar Pradesh claims he went to the electricity department to file a complaint, but was sent from one office to another. When he tried to record a video, his phone was allegedly snatched and he was beaten.

He further claims that when he went to the police station to file an FIR, it was refused.

If such incidents happen to poor people and no action is taken, public trust in the system will only collapse.
