Today is the birth anniversary of Ramakrishna Paramahansa (1836 - 1886), a 19th Century religious leader and reformer, who was a devotee of Goddess Kali. Sri Ramkrishna or Ramkrishna Paramhansa, born Gadadhar Chattopadhyaya, was known to be very close to his followers and spoke with them about the vastness and beauty of the Hindu philosophy in very simple language. He was a priest at the Dakshineshwar Kali Temple. Ramakrishna Paramhansa even to this day has lakhs of disciples across the world who follow the monastic Ramakrishna Order. Ramkrishna Paramhansa's chief disciple Swami Vivekananda had founded the Ramakrishna Math, which is associated with education, charity and social work.
Ramakrishna Jayanti is celebrated on March 15 every year

आज रविदास जयंती है। पूरे देश में संत रविदास बड़े ही उत्साह के साथ मनाई जा रही है। हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार हर वर्ष माघ महीने की पूर्णिमा तिथि पर संत रविदास की जयंती मनाई जाती है। संत रविदास जी का जन्म माघ पूर्णिमा तिथि के दिन हुआ था। इस दिन संत रविदास के अनुयायी बड़ी संख्या में उनके जन्म स्थान पर एकत्रित होकर भजन कीर्तन करते हैं। रविदास जयंती और माघी पूर्णिमा के दिन गंगा स्नान का विशेष महत्व होता है।

Objectives Of National Girl Child Day:

1- The objective of National Girl Child Day is to create awareness about the rights a girl owns.

2- Its objective is also to give girls the opportunities like everyone else.

3- The objective is to support the girl child of the nation.

4- To highlight and remove gender-based biases.

5- The objective of celebrating is to promote awareness about the inequalities that a girl child faces.

6- It is to educate people about girl’s education. Basically, the objective is to promote the education of girl children.

7- To value them and to respect them like everybody else.

8- It is to promote their health and nutrition.

9- To give a new perspective towards girl child and to decrease discrimination. Its objective is to change society’s attitude towards girls.

10- To decrease female foeticide and create awareness about the decreasing s*x ratio.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao
It is the central government scheme. Every girl in the country is part of this scheme. The aim is to provide education to the girls. And also to save them from every malpractice. Initially, it was for the districts, but now it is for the entire country’s girls. The motive of this scheme is to give girls a safe environment. It also prevents abortions and supports the education of the girls. It also ensures the girl child’s well-being.

Parakram Diwas
Parakram Diwas, also called Bravery Day, is now a formal National Day, that is celebrated in India on January 23rd. It was introduced by the Government of India in 2021 ahead of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's 125th birth anniversary.

From 2022, Republic Day celebrations will start on January 23rd instead of January 24th to include the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, in line with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government’s “focus to commemorate important aspects of our history and culture.”
