All children were given information on Philately stamps and my stamp

Moreover importance of personal communication was emphasized during the talk with students

As a special measure they were given post cards to write letters to their friends and parents

Visit Report..

Yesterday, it was great day for our office. Students of MAHARSHI DADHIYI PRATHMIK SCHOO NO.59, Goverment School visited Rajkot Head Post office. Shri Miral Khamar, SRPM is feeling very great full to learnt about how to write POST CARD for personal use and distribute POST CARD to all students.

All students looking thirsty for various information of Post office. Specially for Philatelic tickets.

The government on Tuesday described as “unfounded” the reports that it is planning to reduce the retirement age of employees, according to sources.
The reports have been circulating, particularly on social media, that the Department of Personnel and Training has cleared a proposal under which government employees will retire at the age of 60 or after 33 years of service, whichever is earlier.
The sources in the government said the reports are “unfounded and baseless”.
There is “no such proposal”, they added.

Visit of Rajkot HO

An educative and fun filled trip, students of S N Kansagra,Rajkot visited the Rajkot HO today and learnt about the services provided by the Post Office to the public.

The children learnt about the different services available in the Post Office such as registered post, money order and speed post. Children were excited to see how the letters were stamped, sorted and put in different boxes and shelves.

Curiosity led the children to ask questions to the Post Master, who was happy to answer their queries and explained how letters were collected and delivered to their destinations, he even explained to them how aadhar card can be made there and also money can be deposited in the post office.

In the high tech Era of Mobile and e-mail, the children enjoyed watching the services of postman in delivering the letters in person to the public.
