The Shelter Home was formally inaugurated in 2009 for the rehabilitation of rescued girl children through formal education & vocational skill development. Many minor Tribal girls & young women migrate from Jharkhand to Metro cities in search of work & they end up as Domestic Workers. In this process they become victims of human trafficking & flesh trade. They go through emotional, physical, sexual

& financial exploitation from their employees. Asha Kiran Provides a safe, loving & understanding environment for the inner healing of their emotional wounds & experience wholeness of life so that they can be the architects of their own future. Currently Asha Kiran has about 200 such girls who are making every effort under the guidance of a supportive & compassionate staff to put the broken pieces of their lives together, to build a new life, to experience the fullness of life (Jn: 10/10), and in this process turn their scars into stars.
