DRM/Rangiya, accompanied by the concerned Branch Officers, conducted a window trailing inspection from Rangiya to Pathsala on 01 August 2026. During the inspection, a detailed review of Bridge No. 510, LC Gate Nos. SK-17 and SK-32 in the BG-I Section, and LC Gate No. NN-149 in the BG-II Section was carried out. The inspection focused on assessing track fitness, operational safety, and overall efficiency to ensure safe and reliable train operations.
Subsequently, DRM/Rangiya attended the Inter-Divisional Quiz Competition for Loco Pilots (LPs) as the Chief Guest, held at the Railway Institute, New Bongaigaon.

DRM/Rangiya inaugurated the Staff Facilitation-cum-Aadhaar Help Centre today at the Concourse of the DRM Building, Rangiya, in the presence of ADRM/Rangiya, Branch Officers, other officers, and staff. The centre has been established to provide convenient Aadhaar-related services and enhance staff facilitation under one roof.

डीआरएम/रंगिया ने आज डीआरएम भवन, रंगिया के कॉन्कोर्स परिसर में स्टाफ सुविधा-सह-आधार सहायता केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर एडीआरएम/रंगिया, शाखा अधिकारीगण, अन्य अधिकारीगण तथा कर्मचारीगण उपस्थित रहे। यह केंद्र कर्मचारियों को आधार संबंधी सेवाएँ एक ही स्थान पर सरल, सुगम एवं सुविधाजनक रूप से उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से स्थापित किया गया है।

DRM/Rangiya conducted a comprehensive Window Trailing Inspection today from Rangiya to New Bongaigaon, including a detailed review of the progress of ABSS works at Nalbari station. En route, inspections were also carried out at LC Gate No. SK-22, SEJ No. 8 at NLV, and Bridge No. 224.
During the inspection, special emphasis was laid on the condition of track and railway infrastructure, signalling assets, safety compliance, maintenance standards, and overall operational efficiency. Necessary instructions were issued to the concerned officials to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and punctual train operations.

On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga-2026, a mass yoga session was organised at the Officers' Club, Rangiya under the leadership of Shri Anant Sadashiva, Divisional Railway Manager, Rangiya. In consonance with this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," yoga programmes were also conducted at MDDTI/RNY, NBQ and RPAN. The observance witnessed enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed Indian Railways' commitment to promoting yoga as a means to enhance physical fitness, mental well-being and a healthier lifestyle.
