Agri-Innovation & Incubation Centre, RPCAU, Pusa hosted an outreach programme on “Scale-Up & Market Access”, bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, experts, and agri-startups to explore opportunities for value addition, market expansion, and technology-driven solutions in agriculture.

The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Vivek Kumar, GM-DIC, who highlighted the importance of supporting agri-entrepreneurs and strengthening the ecosystem for innovation and market access.

The programme featured insightful discussions on Makhana value addition and product innovation. Mr. Sayed Faraz, Shee Foods, showcased India’s first Makhana-based cookies, macaroni, and pasta, while Mr. Alok Kumar, the “IITian Pastawala,” shared innovative possibilities in Makhana-based pasta and vermicelli.

AIIC-supported startups also shared their entrepreneurial journeys, highlighting the role of incubation, innovation, and market linkages in transforming agricultural ideas into viable enterprises.

The programme further witnessed the launch of Sonachur Rice by Mr. D. K. Upadhyay. Mr. Vivek Kumar, Co-founder, Agrix, and Mr. Rezaullah, Founder, Root & Soot, shared innovative agri-tech and nutrition solutions aimed at creating greater opportunities and improving livelihoods for Bihar’s farming community.

The event reaffirmed RPCAU’s commitment to nurturing agri-entrepreneurship, promoting value addition, and taking innovations from ideas to enterprises and markets.
