It was initially situated at the bank of River MAHANADI. declared for the project 'HIRAKUD NADIBANDHA YOJNA' Govt. decided to move this village from it's original land to now where it is. It is approximately 25 km. from Sambalpur city. It's a beautiful, well educated village with a population of more than 4000 peoples having it's own U.P, M.E, High Scool and College(+2, DPA College, Mura), Hospital and Post Office.

They are from Boudh dist. and named as Dibya Jyoti Bhajan Samaroha. Bhal gauchan aau bajauchan v, bhal laguche !! :)
